Ration Food variety

Add more ration food variety. In Half Life 2 we never see what's in the rations, so we can come up with all sorts of variety.

Half Life Alyx gives us more ideas on what are in rations: 'Gelatinated Calorie Pastes, egg-flavor' and 'Desiccated Sustenance Bars, water-flavor'. Moreover, Russell references bread (that's worse than bakery bread) being given out in breadlines and he has fresh produce in his lab fridge (cucumbers and cabbage), though the fresh produce might not be from rations, instead bought someplace else.

There's also a canned cheese poster right next to the ration dispensary in the city-24 map.

These all lead to ration ideas: Have more rations than the white sludge-water combo. Sometimes give out the calorie pastes together with a bread slice (so you have something to put the paste on) w/ water. Give out sustenance bars and/or cheese cans w/ water, stuff like that. And have different flavours of calorie paste and sustenance bars (other than the HLA egg and water flavors); stuff like this encourages roleplay since characters will develop preferences for what rations they're getting and it fits better with the lore of half-life + removes unnecessary dystopia (this isn't 1984 rp).

them being in loyalist rations only makes no sense and the nutrient paste we already have is described as tasteless and isn't gelatinated. bread isn't IC issue and it's bland to have more dystopia in hl2rp when that dystopia has no basis in any of the games (all info I went off of you can find in games; if you want more dystopia then go search for 1984RP)

Rations are supposed to sustain you, not be a culinary experience. If you expect it to be like gourmet cuisine then you're gonna have to dream bigger. Either way, these supplements were meant for people who are just hungry and need something to eat, who have no choice but to eat what's available.

that is true, however half life alyx has this ration variety and it's available to normal people. I say we should prioritise following what's explicitly there in the games and not change things because it's more dystopian that way
