Remove T4 Requirement for a Coat

The black coat you see on the left is one of the new clothing items that has been added in the recent update. It's cheaper than the suit jacket you see on the right, isn't made of anything potentially dangerous, and lacks any 'suit' aspect, but it requires T4. The suit jacket on the right however is more expensive, is in fact a suit accessory, and does not require T4.

Not only is this a major annoyance from an OOC perspective, it doesn't even icly make sense.

Having to grind out workshifts and pray you don't get blown off for the 47th time for a T4 interview just to get access to a bodygroup is really lousy. Actual suits and dress shoes, yeah fine, but a black jacket? This needs to stop.​

This Jacket makes or breaks loyalist RP.

Before this Jacket, loyalist RP was awful.
With this jacket, its still awful, but there's a new jacket.


Please remove post and publicly apologize for your insolence.
 
That coat is lined with the most plush cashmere from the pashmina goats native to central asia. Giving regular citizens such a luxury is preposterous
 
I feel like this is an IC issue that you gotta hash out with the Assembly or something.

What is more worth in quality, your good old Green jacket that is useful for practical purpose or a high end jacket using more expensive materials with the design to display a class image and is seen as such for rich individuals to wear such attire.
Both serve the same purpose but the clear IC difference is the image. If you want the jacket so bad...

You need to upgrade from peasant to get it with the Loyalist Premium package. I got mine with discount code #59507.
 
Or.... just bump up the price to something extreme, 500 credits or so, making it possible for everyone to enjoy the new slick content without soft walling it to loyalists.
 
IC Issue.

You should bring it up with the Assembly, or otherwise the Civil Administration.


But fair enough, we the Civil Administration have decided to restrict both The Suit Jacket and the Black Coat to Tier 4, thank you for the suggestion!

I don't see how what it starts off at matters. If it started off unrestricted, then the LA could very quickly and easily restrict it ICly. It really wouldn't change much.

Thats actually what happened, technically.
It started off unrestricted, then it was ICly restricted by the LA and CCA
 
It was restricted in-character, and ergo, can be unrestricted in-character. I fail to see why this would have to happen via a forum suggestion.
