I think this would be a huge win for immersion, not only can you be more engaged with RP scenarios without the glaring CSGO crosshair for S2K, but it allows for a much more immersive experience and also adding some of the inaccuracy shown with real weapons.

Every Rebel/CP main is going to place a small piece of tape on their monitor like the Kingdom Come Deliverance way

So now staff have to check every single player to see if they're using custom crosshairs.

How about making the cross-hair optional?

I think this should be a step for realism.

Realism doesn't mean fun and fun doesn't mean realism. I thought we were past this already.

serious roleplay.
Also doesn't equal strict adherence to reality. People slap on bandage scripts when they've been peppered by bullets like some well-seasoned meal but the spices are rifle rounds.

you're comparing this to a system that's being reworked as we speak

don't know how else I can convey this to you other than forcing realism into every single aspect is not an improvement in a videogame unless it's strictly grounded in realism from the getgo, which willard is far removed from

Any how, removing a crosshair wouldn't severely detriment your ability to S2K. play insurgency, or insurgency sandstorm, and you'll see what i mean.

It would also promote the usage of scopes more often to assist with aiming in the field.

piss and shit meters for serious rp
Not that realistic, this is merely a QOL feature that helps with aiming, and i think having the crosshair removed would be a positive influence on the community. Not having to stair at a gigantic crosshair every 30 seconds, yet not wanting to disable it incase S2K happens where you'd be at a disadvantage and they'd have an advantage.

The only way to ensure everybody is on a level playing field (as much as possible) is to give everybody crosshairs.

People will go out of their way to use external crosshairs (guaranteed, and they're mostly impossible to check for).

you can edit it in your arccw settings in your q menu

Alright, I want to elaborate a little bit more on this.

The crosshair settings are all configured clientside in ArcCW (via console commands and q menu) and, according to the official Server Operator Guidelines it is against the rules to forcibly modify these settings.
