You're right. Only problem is that every gun needs a 'magazine' so to speak, which is why this even exists in the first place.

Isn't there a way to just... Fix that? Make shotguns use the old system of just "Loading" ammunition into it?

Just turn mags so that they cost 1 basic plastic for guns that don't need mags. That way you avoid people crafting a million (if you were to make them free) and crashing the server, since you're changing 1 item for 1 item, they won't be able to buy that many.

By making them cost 1 plastic garbage you eliminate this problem without any possibilities of abuse to crash the server or people making too many. Sounds simple enough to me.

admittedly the 'fix' for the revolver would just be making them speed-loaders, but having an 'ammo pouch' item that ties in to your mags / bullet count would be nice for those weapons- hand-loading is fun

Goes to say as well that shotgun magazines are a bit finnicky, at least on my end. Loading an 8rnd mag into an M870 gives me 6 bullets with 2 saved for later, so later on instead of loading the fresh 8rnd mag, I get 2 rounds instead (I'm already dead because HLA antlions facing you take more than that to kill)

Okay, then let me ask... Why does shotgun magazines still cost 1 entire plastic sheet? Just make it 1 plastic garbage or something... For an item that shouldn't exist it still has a cost.
