How long is the ban for?: 1 week (currently 5 days as of writing)
The reason you were banned?: Unserious and minge behavior
Why do you wish to be unbanned?: I was holding off appealing at first because I didn't really enjoy my experience but I'm appealing out of curiosity and a revoke of this ban. Considering I spent most of my time on the server walking and exploring the map, I spent most of my time that I could get myself into was talking with players. I can't really consider any of my conduct to be unserious or minge-esque, unless its referring to my character's babbling ontop of a bus shelter and apartment overhang, which in any case, does not really fit into being unserious or minge-like. I was never warned for this or hinted at that my actions are considered to be that way, the closest I can get to was Gr4ss warning me for standing on a fence, I don't see why that was necessary or worth the time to even mention but I rolled with it and hopped off. I'll keep it short but I can't really see any reasons as to why I was banned for a week based on my supposed actions.
Do you have any picture or video evidence to support your reason?: Most I have is a screenshot of me on a bus shelter yelling at OTA.

Were there any witnesses who can help in this appeal?: (List the steam and/or character names of them or tag them) None, not really into making this a bias post.

Thank you for taking the time to appeal your ban. Here are some of the excerpts that I just grabbed from the many pages I have.

I also found you trying to glitch into places which can also be found in the logs/evidence which I have provided.

Considering how this is taken out of context, an RL GM and I were constantly harassing each other, he did not mind the words I were using and himself did not ask to cut the act out, instead he promoted it and carried out. This scaled into a one on one shittalking situation. The words used by the RL in question were on par with mine, but it's irrelevant I'm guessing.



There is countless other phrases I spout which are absolute babble and non-sense. I don't understand how someone from an outside POV couldn't just view this as my character being delusional and not requiring any OOC intervention.



This doesn't show much other than IC vulgar language which can be dealt with ICly.



Same can be said here, standing on the apartment overhang yelling at the cops below.



The falling over and actions were because I was stuck in a door at the bar, I kept trying to fallover but I would remain stuck. Also this /actarrest was stated to of been removed server changelogs ago but still remains if this is an exploit. Unsure as to why me opening a container is mentioned, but the /me was a bind and I forgot to indicate to void it, my bad on my behalf.

Overall the evidence provided is mostly out of context with disregards to other members of whom it concerned and just shows my character being delusional and outright mentally unwell, eitherway I'm thankful the evidence was provided but was not accurate of my conduct, but clears up the reasoning for the ban.

To the outside eye, this does look like extreme unserious behaviour, and could easily be seen as something that would be typed out in a DarkRP server if they didn't have voice chat enabled.

I am aware that there are certain logs that I provided which can be dealt with IC, but when there's this much stacking up against the way you play the character, it does not look like you never had any serious intent on the server. I looked through the entirety of your logs, and 80-90% of it were just you fucking about. Whether a GM-Rank Lead also partook in these actions and promoted them, is not something that managed to catch my eye. One time you were playing as if you were a priest or someone who highly believed in God, and then suddenly you become a gang member that knows the entire vocabulary of rebel slang. I am aware that I did not bring logs of you preaching to God, and I actually liked the way you played it off until you did a 180 and got a completely different personality out of the blue.

When it comes to the obvious exploit that you were trying to use, it does not matter if you were stuck or not. You could easily have called an admin to come over and assist you. The reason why I mentioned the containers is that it looks incredibly suspicious of you doing this exploit, and suddenly you stop and the next thing you do is open containers and gaining items.

One time you were playing as if you were a priest or someone who highly believed in God, and then suddenly you become a gang member that knows the entire vocabulary of rebel slang. I am aware that I did not bring logs of you preaching to God, and I actually liked the way you played it off until you did a 180 and got a completely different personality out of the blue.

I had one character who did this, I'm unsure if you are referring to the same character who does this supposed "180" and switches personalities, but I don't remember doing this on that character. On the other character I did briefly play somewhat of a previous role, but then I felt was repeating my last character and quickly changed this. I'm also unsure as to what you mean by "rebel slang" or "entire vocabulary", I don't know if this is a bad joke but I don't recall doing this and is different to my two character's personalities.

The reason why I mentioned the containers is that it looks incredibly suspicious of you doing this exploit, and suddenly you stop and the next thing you do is open containers and gaining items.

I was hanging out the with bar owner and he pretty much allowed me to search the containers and taken an item from the fridge, unsure as to why this would link to the action exploit or something else considering an admin unlocked the doors because the owner was unknowingly stripped of his role through bad communication even though ICly he still had the keys.

I'm overall confused about the evidence and response. Thanks.

Perhaps it was two different characters. I don't have access to the logs as of writing this in the moment. I could've been wrong on that part.
It might just be me. Some may argue that you could deal with it IC and take this all IC. To me, it just looked like unserious behaviour with zero actual seriousness put into it. Again, may just be me with too extreme views on this, and I am willing to back down on this claim if a majority of staff also reviewing this also deems my views too harsh. And for that, I will apologize nonetheless, if your intents were to play seriously in that way you did it.

It links because within a three-minute period where you stop doing the exploit which is obviously not allowed and a bannable offence (unless you were given permission from some staff member to do this), says nothing, no interactions at all, and then you start gaining these items. So I hope you can understand why I think that this looks bad.

The two characters in questions are "Camden Brown" and "Daniel Magnus". Both have separate personalities.

Whilst I understand this was an exploit, as I was the one who told the admins themselves "this is an exploit please remove it", I mention before being stuck, I could of called for admins but an admin was already on the way because at the time the bar owner had called for an admin to let him out the bar. I stopped doing this and the bar doors were unlocked, I walked around for a bit and helped myself with a Glass of Red wine from the fridge and carelessly snooped around the other containers. I was also on comms with the bar owner at the time of entering the bar but thats another matter entirely. A single item was taken.

I've explained my parts and I don't really need any further explanations unless its desperately needed. Thanks.

As Dante said IC should be kept IC and handled as such, which is something this staff team struggles with, as they intruded with our IC roleplay and removed a player from a legitimate scenario, so I can see why the same situation could happen to Rico.
