incident log #18-171

CONFIDENTIAL

Time & Date: 17th of January - 4:21 AM (local time)
Delegates involved: HUNTER-91.

Description:

"During guard duty of the [EXPUNGED], delegate HUNTER-91 appears to have found the long-deceased corpses of several rodents. Upon closer inspection, it appeared to have been the species Rattus norvegicus. Delegate HUNTER-91 spent the next 11 minutes searching for where these rodents appeared from until at last, the delegate discovered a small hole in the wall from which the rats emerged. The delegate states that they did not wish to use their rifle in chances of a possible misfire, and damage the [EXPUNGED]. In turn, HUNTER-91 used their bare hands to catch and [EXPUNGED] the rats. This caused the halls of [EXPUNGED] to be painted with the blood of rodents and caused the janitorial staff to spend the next five hours after the incident cleaning the halls (floor, walls, and the ceiling). The delegate states that the rodent infestation could've possibly brought about diseases, and wishes to only further preserve Combine assets as best as they could. HUNTER-91 appeared to have been carrying a bag filled with a total of six (6) rats, which they sought to dispose of. HUNTER-91 immediately disposed of any contaminated pouches. The delegate does not appear to show any symptoms that they might be defective as they sought to preserve Combine assets as best as they possibly could. Delegate has been refitted with their equipment and has been granted to resume duties as normal after possible contamination hazards have been eliminated. HUNTER-91 has been disinfected with a success rate of 99.41%."
