View attachment 39182A half-burned picture was placed on the metallic desk. As the lamp shone brightly upon it, it revealed what little it could. The man began narrowing his eyes, it's as if the room began to catch fire. Yet, the silence was broken by the Korean.
"어디서 찾았나요?"
"You know where those shitty fences are that block off the entire place? This was outside of it. The dead bunker had this pinned."
"감히 제 지식에 의문을 품으세요?"
"No, not at all. But you know, it'd be wise to send a patrol there."
"지금쯤이면 이미 죽었을지도 모르는 사람들과 함께 버려진 소굴에 선량한 사람들을 보낼 것 같나요?"
"No- no leader, quite the opposite. Where the is smoke, there is fire. Look. The previous reserve was a failure- what do we have to lose by going inside. If you believe that they're deceased- then there's nothing to worry about. We go in, we see what's inside, then we leave. Simple, no?"
"Pah, just ready the men. Good thing they're all collared, we can take as many of them as we want. Can't believe I'm wasint manpower for some abandoned shithole."
PREAMBLE
The Conscripted Reserved caught wind of an underground bunker. It was only a couple of days ago, that they were deployed by Civil Protection to assist them with a crystal. And yet, through the chaos and amidst the clashes with the wildlife that inhabits the undeground, some of them were daring enough to look what lied past the fence. A terrified but daring look, made it clear that someone had to explore this uncharted quarter past the MOP. Indeed, only the brave would dare to go past the fence.
MISSION STATEMENT
View attachment 39183The assignment seems simple to everyone. They go in, they get out. But like every mission, the odds to meet someone you don't expect are high. This particular assignment will prove that indeed, as a matter of fact, you can always run into someone. Or something that you're not entirely familiar with. Something that no weapon and no man can kill. After all, even an abandoned house, can house rodents.
This'd only prove truer for the bunker you're about to enter. All of you are collared. All of you have been given orders, maybe some of you have some gear. But that's where it ends. Will you be the vanguard that stands against the unknown lying in the dark, waiting? Or would you rather have your brains blown up and be just another annal in the history books.
This bunker was known to house a resistance cell, once. With PTs of Civil Protection that have never returned, with entire cells wondering where their compatriots went, whatever haunts this bunker, it remains unknown. But was any of this real?
The constant taste of iron in your mouth, the feeling of being watched, the random pains you suffer at random intervals. One thing stood clear: the deeper you went inside, the stronger the nausea became. Throwing up, nose bleeds, the environment itself was hostile. Not towards you. But towards everyone. It hated everyone, and no human would be wiser to set foot. Yet, you can't help but wonder: what was inside this particular bunker. What made it special. Why is it that people who enter never exit, and most importantly: will you make it out alive? Will you grit your teeth hand pull through, for the supreme colonel, or will you tuck tail and run? Who's to say your collar won't be detonated? Your story begins now
