I have a question, open to anyone to answer tbh.
What has the LFC done to bother you personally, that is beyond what the general rebel cell does? I want to understand if there is genuine reason for hatred or if people are jumping on a bandwagon.
i never said or presented the idea that i personally hate the LFC. i just generally dislike it because

1. they have shitty lore endorsed by admins (which will be scrubbed clean sooner or later to actually make the faction realistic)
2. faction management doesnt do anything with the LFC and they let their members do whatever they want
3. staff have a heavy amount of bias for the faction which i've already went too in-depth in the past so i won't explain any further
4. they whine when things don't go their way and expect to be the main character type faction
5. the faction is inactive, which isn't their fault but they should at least be doing things here and there by people who care about it

in conclusion: i don't hate the LFC. i like it and i like the other rebel factions on the server even though most of them share the same issues to a lesser extent (considering they're not main factions), i like many others want them to improve greatly. they should be having high standards and we as the players should be having high expectations for the faction considering its the main rebel group in Willard right now, which is why we're being so harsh on it.

(PF has had enough of this now and that's entirely why she acts how she does).
grrr... Woman in fucking CCA Militaric Uniform and wandering around with HEAVILY MODIFIED AR-15... ggh.... Not having respect and made fun off... AGH! I hate LFC!!!!

cringe pathfinder take: I hate the LFC and rebels because they made fun of me
based houndeye raver take: I hate the LFC and rebels because they are all retards, wear sewer-shit suits, and refuse to do anything but hide in their base

Virgin LFC - Hides in outlands with automatic weapons and body armour does nothing to start a revolt. Also attacks and kill civillians
Chad Houndeye raver - Dog gets shot by Cps ATF style and starts a violent insurrection and nearly takes over entire district whilst armed with a few switch blades and pipe pistols and the power of music.

Just as a quick follow up to this (I've had a few drinks so expect an edit tomorrow)
1) The faction members didn't choose this, and we are actively working on rewriting it
2) I do disagree. Juicy has been active, and Travis has to take an LOA due to burnout.
3) Again, if you say this is the case, it is still something we don't have any control over
4) I've not seen this in our discord, but I don't have any evidence to prove otherwise.
5) I do agree honestly, we did in general expected there to be more, for the lack of a better word, content to have. As it stands, there is pretty much zero difference between us and ANY generic rebel cell you can start besides the cool armband.

They don't train they don't share resources, they refuse to plan a course of action and set in motion a plan to defeat the combine forces in Geneva or atleast heavily cripple them and cause chaos.
Because any attempt of that is immediately shut down by the 5 billion daily sweeps because of the people who have kitchen knives out in display in the slums, and then everyone blames the rebels in general, even if the ones trying to plan something like this arent at fault.

The knife wielders are gang bangers, The outlands is massive there are multiple structures and bases out there bunkers included which you could easily do some form of training the way the MAA Did back in 2021 down there, You could have a class where a rebel teaches a group of recruits how to improvise weapons.

Either people refuse to attend/co-operate or there is no support system for it. Personally I'd do it if the people WANTED to learn and showed a genuine desire to improve but there are a handful of actual rebels the rest are gangs of psychopaths (you know who you are) Who roam the sewers and slums looking for loyalists and citizens to jump cus they're asshats.

Big take-away here is much like a decaying crackwhore dying on the side of the street you can't MAKE someone stop their shitty habits and this goes for the rebels too, You can't make them stop fragging each other or snitching on one another you can't stop them from trying to be the main character instead of working as a collective as Ironic as it may sound if the resistance stopped being a bunch of Tumblr users who HAD to be INDIVIDUALISTIC and worked together to train then plan and execute if they had a CHAIN OF COMMAND even a de-centralized one, We could see a completely different rebellion one on-par with the admin event factions seen on SS.

Mao's Army, FARC, The Vietcong, The Taliban, The American Patriots, The Forest brothers, The Irish republican army, The Mujahedeen undoubtedly had people in their ranks they didn't like or disagreed with but they put aside their individualism and fought against common enemies working as a collective Instead of trying to attack things as individuals.

I might be talking to a fucking wall at this point but...this is my suggestion to the rebels.

-Set your individualism aside. - No more of this trying to turn your guns on each other, If someone does that regardless of their motives they should have their ass beaten and restrained and either put in some holding cell or dealt with by a trial. Mental instability is a liability and you don't want that sort of thing running rampant.
-Elect leadership, I'd recommend (PF/Broker for example)- Have them outline a goal and an endgame plan for when or if their uprising is successful.
-Secure an Outlands base as your Operations/Command Post. -CP. (This should be highly secretive) -You can blindfold people to bring them there to avoid shit
-Begin training, -Teaching characters how to create explosives maintain their weapons, Setting ambushes capturing/assaulting enemy positions and laying traps can be invaluable for guerilla's and right now the rebels have access to the country-side which is a guerilla's wet dream. Whether you fancy yourself a simple guerilla force or a paramilitary group TRAINING is vital to maintaining group discipline, skills and disseminating knowledge which even kliener stated is humanities most potent weapon.
-Make your attacks mean something- No more attacking the RDC or attacking innocent loyalists/civilians without dire reasoning, The civilian population is the last group a guerilla/rebel should ever fuck with as they are the group you NEED to win over for a successful revolt without the hearts and minds of the people you're not going to get anything, These asshole moves like shooting up businesses and robbing loyalists and standing idly by while gangsters do this MUST Stop, You need to take an image as hero's as martyrs not as blood thirsty terrorists ready to use violence against political adversaries.
-Capture/Interrogation- This goes hand in with training but it can't be understated how important it is to gather intelligence it can mean the difference in knowing whether that new guy in your group is an OSI plant and the CPs are enroute via APCs to raid you or if you're going to miss a big shipment of weapons and food coming in on Tuesday that you can plan an ambush for.
-Stop being afraid to fight- So you're a rebel? You're geared head to toe in body armor maybe you have a rifle or SMG, Well so is your enemy I've noticed a lot of rebels chicken out at the idea that they're going to die, There's a saying about artillery where if that shell is going to hit you it's going to hit you, Meaning if you're going to die you're going to die You're here geared and fighting because your character refused to be a slave or has somehow found themselves choosing armed struggle against the combine, Be the guy that CP i3 Geared up to go fight, Be the enemy that your enemy is kitted to kill.
-As for the argument of CPs/OTA Being around every corner- Train your fighters in the outlands to set up recon posts have a radio network setup to where those on the ground alert a post commander monitoring the radio and relay that information to other people on the ground, You can cover more ground then you think even if your "Post" is some tree house and you're some low geared guy with tree branches taped to his clothes with binoculars and a radio, You can make that difference.

NOTE TO STAFF:
(I think more lenient PK policies (more NLR for S2K Deaths) would make rebels alot less cowardly) (On servers like TNB rebels S2K/S2RP all the time and it's not always a PK, People take more risks if they know their character wont be wasted on an assault, same should go for other factions like CPs. They get a de-rank so why shouldn't that rebel whose gonna lose all his gear get an NLR? I know if I had a very developed character with tons of connections I'd rather keep them take an NLR in a fire-fight with CPs and have the consequence be losing my gear and if it happens agian its a PK)

Train your fighters in the outlands
Nearly every time rebels have gone into the outlands to do anything someone from the staff sees it and goes "nooo my city rp i need to spawn the hunter and scare them back into the sewer now"

Then the staff responsible for that need to be found and told to fuck off so the rebels can have some breathing room beacuse that's unacceptable if it happens as frequently as it is alleged. Hunters aren't cheap.

Its the sewer principle, cant have rebels hanging around the sewahs because of imbalance to city and combiens rolepliers.

u really enjoy hanging out in sewers wearing your suit, don't you?

Don't know how "training rebels" (whatever that means) would solve anything. Selling them any outlands content will be as useful as the rest of the off-server stuff has been because the core of the issue is that rebels have no endgame, or even a midgame. A rebel faction can only hoard equipment because they will never have any way of challenging the Combine in a way that it breaks the server status quo. The way the server works, that's just not gonna happen, rebels can't attack the Nexus and capture Victory Square to hold it.

The homeless shelter was objectively the best "rebel faction" because it was the closest thing we had to Black Mesa East taking care of c17 refugees in HL2, any other group trying to "fight the combine" fails miserably every time because there is basically no game for them, there is nothing to win.

Don't know how "training rebels"
Part of the uprising being successful long term will be handling the power vacuum left by the last administration aka the CCA, Rebels will need to provide a form of government and security. I.E Trained semi/professional fighters to take the role of CPs in-order to prevent out-right anarchy in the cities. After the combine are finally kicked off earth when C17 Falls this is going to be a MAJOR issue the rebels will have to solve so it's better to be prepared now and have the tools to tackle this problem then wait for it to become one once they succeed in causing global uprisings.

Former CPs, Militant Loyalists, Bandits, Gang bangers. Are likely not going to take kindly nor will they make re-administrating earth an easy feat for the rebels post combine Logistics will be extremely unreliable as without the CLC you'll need to either establish trade routes and protect them or use your own resources outlined in your cities/territory.

Training the rebels is preparing them to fight and win and preparing them to face the realities of tomorrow from a lore standing.

Oocly it's giving them more things to do and Icly giving their character background/knowledge the average citizen wouldn't have making them more lethal and dangerous to the combine.

If the rebels can't commit to training their military today how will they ever carry the torch that leads humanity to healing tomorrow?
@Imperator RAD-X talked about an old SFM video where the uprising happened and CPs ended up being the inheritors of earth they were the global "Military" if you will who were tasked to defend the cities and fend off xenians, That reality is going to be a brutal military dictatorship held by former "Loyalists" This is something the rebels should be avoiding.

That's so far removed from the possibilities of this server setting that I'm surprised you're even trying to make it part of the discussion. I'm telling you the issue is the rebels can't even hope to 'liberate' the 2 squares of city that is the map of WN;"preparing" them for post-Combine world that will come after a successful uprising (lmao) is completely irrelevant.
Besides, it would just not be doable as a way to give fun content to rebels. The OSF has a hard time making training fun for players already, now imagine trying that with rebel mains and their mentality, yikes.

The show results button didn’t show up and I wanted to see the results so I randomly answered

I’ve literally only seen the LFC during Operation ANVIL and during that they just saved a bunch of no name workers after dying a bunch to the Combine so I literally don’t have an opinion on them.

Well I've given my take on the matter, If any of it is heeded great, But I wouldn't be shocked if I was shouting into a hurricane.
