A world in which Fables, from Children's stories have forever co-existed with the likes of Earth and it's Humans, the variety of fantastical characters, races and even new countries dotting the globe - Orcs, Goblins, Gnomes, Elves, Dwarves, and even notable names like Prince Charming, Alladin, Jack Spriggans. All exist present day, as humans do.
But we're long past the age wherein they'd be spinning tales of climbing beanstalks or swapping porridge.
It's 1973.
The modern age, or, near modern age and way of life is here - soaring skyscrapers, locomotives, guns, and so on - in a world too filled with fantasy. How strange for them to coexist.
We center in on a place filled with both Fact and Fiction.
The City of Sin,
New Ward.
A once-was all-Fable city akin to New York, built and purposed to house Fables during segregationist efforts between Humans and Fables, since having opened to Humans. Now filled, with Fact - and Fiction.
It's nothing nice.
