Make it slightly less difficult to make
Strong adhesive crafting recipe:

2 cans of Breen water
Easy enough to get from rations
2 pieces of useless plastic
Go out to the beach, it'll be in the water. People toss this everywhere
4 bottles of adhesive
Easy-ish to get, pretty cheap from vendors up on the surface
Spooky scary white mixture
Kill me this shit is so hard to make
So, white mixture recipe:

Green Mixture
Alcohol
Breen water
Green substance (as far as I know, only CMU can get this although I may be wrong. I couldn't find a way to get this other than from CMU)
Red Mixture
Alcohol
Breen water
Red substance
Blue Mixture
Alcohol
Breen water
Blue substance
Purifier
here we go again

Purifier time:

Green Mixture
Alcohol
Breen water
Green substance
Red Mixture
Alcohol
Breen water
Red substance
Blue Mixture
Alcohol
Breen water
Blue substance
Yellow mixture
Alcohol
Breen water
Yellow substance
Also, MOST RECIPES USE TWO OR MORE!
I can see two ways of solving this
  1. Make strong adhesive easier to craft
  2. Use strong adhesive way less

If this isn't changed, only the elites get strong adhesive, thus only the elites get good items, pissing people off.

yes it's grindy and annoying for people on their own or people without contacts, but that's how it's supposed to be

Then remove strong adhesive from things that don't need strong adhesive. A radio, for example, takes just as much strong adhesive as a rifle.

also, the guns aren't great. more of a status thing than anything. if i remember correctly, a pipe rifle did 40 damage per turn at 0 gun skill on an unarmoured target. A 9mm pistol instead did 14 round per shot, which I believe means 56 damage per turn. Keep in mind the fact that rebels are mostly unarmoured, knives do a good amount of damage close up, and CPs have higher gun skill... yeah, it's not a fair fight even if you got a pipe gun

I agree with removing it from things like radios and such, but you're acting as if these items should be so easily attainable in such a short amount of time. People shouldn't even be toting guns at this point in.

In regards to rifles/bolt actions, you're always going to do less damage with them as a result of how the gun skill works. I believe with maxed out gun skill (13), you do 80% of the actual damage with rifles, less so with bolt actions. Regardless, numbers are your greatest ally in TBC, not weaponry.
