That is true, but I don't think keeping V2 is going to make any difference to that anymore. The powers-at-be are not addressing any issues currently had, if anything, they might actively be making them worse. Behind the scenes, its pretty well known that most have given up on V2 in a broad sense.
So, I feel that this half-dead version, which is of poorer quality every passing week it seems, rife with drama and with no real worthwhile story to follow isn't worth the damage its potentially causing to the community. Hell, our current CvR landscape is almost an entirely OOC grudge match between players that hate eachother. The city is near dead, and with the addition of the CCR, is about to be even more barren. RP quality in a broad sense is on the floor.
When I vouched to continue V2, I think I had the idea staff and the SC would be working to address issues. Sort of using V2 as a 'testing' grounds of sort to slowly reel things back. That has not happened, and I see no evidence to suggest that's about to change. This is just an endurance test for the players.
Even I'm taking a break from the server at this point.
