BASIC INFORMATION

Amelia Izumi is a small yet lean officer at the height of 5'8" exact. Her facial features indicate her Asian heritage, notably Japanese. She often speaks with the same accent akin to those from Japan - however, she also has a few noticeable European features, most indicated in her blonde hair, brown eyes, and slightly lighter skin tone. In addition to this, her face also has the look of 'tiredness' to it. With dark bags under her eyes, the eye's a little sunken, and her face slightly shallow.
And, when in uniform, she looks like any other Civil Protection Officer - if not a little smaller than usual. She wears a bright, green, sometimes black, armband on her right arm and is often seen holding/carrying her baton. Aside from that, she also has all the indications of the CPs, with her dark black uniform, olive green trousers, black boots, and more. In addition, that vocoder in her mask helps cover up her more Japanese-sounding accent - but it is still somewhat noticeable.

ABBY IZUMI - CCA MEMBER WITHIN CITY-30, UNKNOWN STATUS
PERSONALITY
Amelia Izumi is a Civil Protection officer through and through, with many of her virtues and personality traits stemming from her training as a CP. Izumi is known to be harsh, strict even with those around her. She does this as she wants to meet the status quo set by the CCA for how Civil Protection officers need to perform. So she usually falls into the traits mentioned above. Though, due to these traits, she has also been known at times to become desperate to fulfill the CCA's needs. So at times, she can make rash decisions in the heat of the moment or even go beyond what was needed - all to impress those above her. In addition to this, her struggles with the Black Mesa incident affecting her country and the sudden shift and change of her life, she is often down-trodden and indifferent to most things, though she still holds onto a bit of hope in the back of her mind.

What I once thought to be a fairly competent Officer turned out to be quite the 'issue' you could say. From pissing off OTA whenever he gets a chance, to letting blatant violations go with no repercussion, and more - I don't think that stems from any Anti-Union thoughts however, despite what he says, Helix-7 is honestly just too kind-hearted for this job and I hope he doesn't do anything drastic in order to change that.

Helix-6 is another of those new units that came in when I cam into the force - I've talked to him quite a bit over my time here at City-24, but not enough to really get a feel on whether or not I could, nor should, consider him a friend of sorts. - Though in saying that, he is quite a special one, odd too. Additionally, I had heard of rumors that he and Helix-7 were close, which makes me fear for what he'll do considering what happened to him. So I guess I'll keep a close eye on him for the moment.
Still and odd lad. Now an i2 though however. I feel like we'll make a good team. Though he does some say odd stuff... Eh, I presume he was always like that. We'll see how much further our work lives will take us in the meantime. He is one of the few units I can really trust, honestly.

He's one of the Units I never see around and hear little about. Personally, I think he is one of the reasons why Helix-7 was led down the path of being an 'issue' and has led to his many countless punishments - though, that's just Helix-2 for ya'.

He's my RL and brought me into the squad that is HELIX. I heard the other units, H-7, 2, and so on, were all brought in through an experience that made them stand out to Zero; meanwhile, I joined in on a simple whim - to get slotted into a squad. I fear that he sees me as "another CP," so I'll have to do my best to stand out. But I'm still not sure if I can...
In short, I think I've proven myself to him enough.

He's practically going to be the new RL if Helix-0 leaves. He's competent, got a good head on his shoulders, but doesn't believe in himself enough to lead. I hope he gets over that eventually and moves on to actually be a great leader.

One of the many... odd, VICTOR units, or was. I heard stories of her hazing another recruit on their first day, beating them, overdosing them, all that. When I heard that, I wasn't too fond of her, but I had assumed she was trying to prove herself to her RL - which makes me think that VICTOR-0 must be a hard-ass to his units. Aside from that, it was a shame to hear that she had died. I had hoped she would improve with time and reconcile with those she had wronged, but I guess that'll never happen now.

The VICTOR RL. Though he was a hard-ass, he turned out to be almost like HELIX-0. He listened to the issues that VICTOR had and went about fixing them. Honestly, in my book, he's one a CP should rely on whenever things go to hell.

I have a weird memory of interacting with them, like way back in the recesses that are mind - yet, I struggle to figure out what exactly we interacted with. I'll pry just have to catch him off duty one time and chat with him. I remember him being a relaxed one.

The bagel guy, so he calls himself. We've done a few PT Patrols around the city, pry talked about what the Nexus hides in their vaults for their simulation rewards and all that. Special topics to talk with another CP about, but it certainly allowed him to stand out from the rest of the CPs. It's odd I haven't seen him lately though, perhaps I'm just too busy to find him - or he is too busy to find me. Either way, I should get talkin' to him again.

Another one that is going to get rotated out eventually, or get an MMR, or hell - maybe die. Never mind the fact that he tried to flirt on-duty, but he is yet another Unit that is far too nice for this job. I pity him, to an extent - as I did with Helix-7. For he'll probably opt for the MMR and become just another robot within the Union.

This unit is a mixed bag, personally. First, on our patrols together he actively tells Vorts' how to escape, then he goes off how he ain't too keen on the Union, and finally, I had to pay for his own baking supplies... I say this a lot, but these people are quite the odd ones. It makes me wonder as to why they joined Civil Protection in the first place...

An odd Rank Leader - the old one died, and a new one took their place. A female this time. I haven't talked to them much, outside of a few interactions. There are, however, some more than unsavory rumors I've heard about here during my chats with others. I'll keep an eye on them, to see what they're like.

A Rambo wannabe, honestly. Always rushes into fights head first, minus the thinking. The old L-0 was H-1, but I saw him die to a houndeye. Took his Mp7 and all. A shame he died, honestly. The new one though? Practically the same thing as him from what I've witnessed. I could be wrong, however.

But we didn't, yet we still have it. So I'll do my best to preserve the way of life we have.

Wrong place, wrong time. I don't per se feel bad for them, but I can understand them. So many of them had aspirations and lives that they wanted to live but couldn't anymore. It's a shame I have to strong-arm them, but if it means that humanity can live on, I won't care.

Outcasts are those who seem to retain a sense of freedom and aren't rats like the rest of us, but that isn't to say I support them either. Armed insurrection against your fellow humans, killing them, maiming them, putting them in danger. It solves nothing and achieves nothing. They will still be under the Combine rule - and though I may not entirely approve of the UU. I'll still ensure that it stands long after I am gone.
