Styx resources aren't staff spawned.

I've seen players complaining about Styx's resource count and "admin provided" locked containers. I can't speak on the combat issues that you all have had between one another since I'm not involved, but I can speak on resources because I'm the loser who runs around until 2 am scavenging for them.

-All of the crafting materials and items obtained for the Styx are done through its members, and I can confirm that from the inside, because like I said, I bring in a very large chunk of the basic ones.
-There is only one locked container with no actual lock item on it and that's because I had to move it into the building and it had some issues.[There is also basically nothing in it.]
-The Styx is literally constantly running out of resources because they get used so quickly. I've brought in hundreds of materials and we're always barely getting by regarding them.
-The only items spawned by admins were components that the system wouldn't OOCLY allow, they were still required to obtain them ICLY, it wasn't free.

I know people like to throw shade at one another and argue, and I'm not here to debate the combat garbage between you all, but when someone says they're getting items spawned for them by admins, that's kinda throwing my work to the side because yknow, I grind for those resources gimme some recognition instead of accusing the staff and players of bias.






(Of course, I wouldn't be surprised if the admins and rebels were biased against you because some of you think this is rust, not an rp server. but seriously, the resources are not given away.)

But yeah, I can say with confidence that they didn't get anything unfairly spawned by staff

I dont think they thought they were invincible but I dont know much I'm mostly a resource jockey and a body to take up unfilled job slots.

They actually need to reduce them to 3. all groups are allowed 3 big containers max
And styx has about 15 people w/ lock access, 6 or 7 of which are active. makes sense that they'd need that many lockers

They aren't granted you have to build or buy locks and we have a nearly maxed crafter in our group who makes them.

Also limiting storage space OOCLY doesn't make sense and if you got shafted that way I'm siding with you, that's retarded.

But yeah. Not one of us has had things unfairly given. I think actually the admin led groups are the ones supplying themselves with shit, but that's another thing for another day.

Yeah but you're saying it like we ask to do this stuff and then in turn get it. No, that's not how it works at all? It's because we're the group that DOES things. But somehow just because we're armed and have proper supplies we're a bunch of babies who got everything given? Idk when or how they got the extract but I can't imagine it was as simple as you're making it out to be.

Also the event in the Nexus I wasn't a fan of. But they get a pistol (big fucking whoop) and plans WE WEREN'T EVEN ALLOWED TO KEEP because it went straight to a GMs character anyway. Bloodthirsty CPs meta gamed and were convienantly putting themselves in places to find us AFTER that too - trying to figure out how to do was a bitch but I did not like that event and thought it was poor so Ill give you that it wasnt a good one. But all we got was a pistol. My character specifically kicked off about how they ARENT secret agents and doing shit like that is dangerous.

It sounds like you should just join the team because it's really not as bad as you're making out and if you did join, you'd see that for yourself.

But I'm going to dispel the notion that getting shit from an event makes everything all fine and dandy, if your group is exclusively catered to with good events and given rewards then this smells like bullshit. My group has had zero events given to us, and received no reward - so obviously it looks shitty from our perspective when other groups get things like this with very little risk. Acting like 'oh we only got a pistol from an event' is pretty rich when all the other groups have hard to grind their asses off to get everything they have and get nothing like the treatment other groups are getting.

Whether or not cops are bloodthirsty is irrelevant to this conversation, people called out White Dove bias on TerraNova because they got one gun from one event while everyone else got nothing.

And no, I would absolutely despise the idea that there is only one viable rebel group on a server and that would breed an inhospitable environment. Your solution to the problem that a group gets special treatment shouldn't be 'just join the group lololol' as if what is happening is just fair and fine.
