The Welding Mask For Rebels I Know the helmet exists but the welding masks protects more of your face rather than the helmet,Also Can Come In Uh Diffrent Models

Normal(No Decorations) Lamda(Has a Lamda Symbol on its front red or yellow) Striped(Striped with yellow or red)

Rebels with welding masks have been visibly identifiable since the base game. You'll see them being used when they're fixing up barricades, other structures or vehicles. One of them specifically existing in Episode 2 when the guy's fixing up the Jalopy for Gordon.

But generally, I don't mind whether or not there's more cosmetic additions to the server. Welding masks are a fine addition enough.
 
It would be a little bit distracting to see people running around in Welding masks. I've been around that field and almost all basic masks of that style are shaded to a point that you cannot see shit unless you lift the hood. There are those that are light-sensitive and thus only darken in response to intense light sources, but it seems really weird that so many people would have access to these more advanced designs imo.

For me, it would look silly having some guy run around in a welding helm who doesn't instantly proceed to kiss the nearest wall.

Bro welding masks should be fine tbh, from personal experience yeah they make shit dark but as long as the person wearing it isnt retarded they should be fine

Something similar can be said for CPs who wouldnt have any peripheral vision because of the masks and would be easy to sneak up on, or really anyone wearing a gas mask. I dont think this should be a problem at all since its a game in the end + welding masks would be cool

I cannot wait until someone ports the entropy zero 2 models and weapons to gmod,
 
I believe this was attempted but was difficult to properly implement due to clipping issues with other bodygroups and stuff. Plus, as mentioned, realistically your vision would be really negated, so you could just RP it I suppose.
