Bug Suitcase items overwritten

1. Bug: My suitcase items get overwritten by other items I pick up when my inventory (NOT backspace) is otherwise full.
2. Description:
   During a fabrication workshift on two separate occassions, when my inventory was filled with items being fabricated, the next item I picked up would overwrite the first slot in my suitcase. I lost two flashlights this way.
   1. Fill inventory, backspace irrelevant.
   2. Suitcase in inventory, also filled.
   3. Pick up an item (for me, it was a fabricated item during a workshift, but this may work regardless of what you pick up.)
   4. It will be placed in the suitcase's first slot, overwriting whatever item is there.

The top left is the item that gets overwritten. In this case it's my flashlight that was replaced by biogel in one shift, and a spoon in another workshift. It took two shifts for me to understand what was happening. Continuing to pick up more items with a full inventory will continually overwrite this one suitcase slot. So during a spoon workshift, three spoons were missing due to this bug because I picked up four with a full inventory, and they continued to overwrite eachother.
I'm reporting this because a glitch like this is likely to create IC issues where the player can potentially be responsible for missing items during a workshift, but in reality it's the fault of a bug.

The ideal situation is that the item should be prevented from being picked up, and a message should display notifying the player that they have no more inventory space.

I'd suggest not allowing overflow items to be automatically placed in a suitcase at all. Being a suitcase, it's probably closed and would require conscious effort to put anything in there.

Im noticing that i can't use certain slots in my inventory either.
