SURVEY: Willard's Aesthetic - A problem to fix?

Does Willard's aesthetic drift beyond what could be considered an immersive HL2RP experience?

It’s especially odd since for some items you could realistically scrounge up the ingredients and make these items - even if it’s cheap and lackluster. Like, a rebel could put in a lot of effort to make pizza but nooo, it’s not grimdark enough. Mf, the combine didn’t laser fucking ingredients out of our heads, did they do a book burning on all cookbooks??
they should re-add pizza & ice-cream as recipes, imo.

Also, I do believe that Willard's difference in aesthetic helps it, as, like many people said, if we were 1:1 HL2 It would be kinda mid.

Buuut, some posters, map props and such, feel more like JoJo Rabbit or Chaplin's Dictator. And clothing... Some feels bit out of place, ESP stuff like Wool (even though I like it)

I do like the enchanting aesthetic of Willard, it's a change from the too familiar or regular HL2 look or attempt at HL:A look. I don't think Willard would be that popular if it didn't had all the player made posters, all the fancy props that bring luxuries items or slummer items to an higher level.

Of course since it's Gmod we are stuck with what the Workshop give us, but nonetheless I absolutely hate the usage of Half-Life 1 assets, whenever it's props or NPC, thoses look very off since they are coming from an older and more outdated engine than Gmod.
