A matter of concern for a resistance roleplay & its players is how bases will be delegated in the switch to the new map, and how some may be overshadowed by those who get there the fastest, despite their claim being firmly in place on the current map. To avoid a stampede for the perfect position on the new map, I will be handling the ownership of bases in the transition from the current map to the new version. To ensure the fairness of this handing out of bases and the interests of everyone involved, anyone who currently owns a base on C24 V3 will be entitled to keep their current base location and those whose base is edited out will receive a first pick for a new base location. If you do currently own a base on C24 V3 but would like to change positions, you & every other group will draw lots to decide the order of which bases will be picked.
This process will occur when a public release of the map is made available to the general public. Groups will be the priority pick for a base location. At the discretion of members of staff, players may be moved around or prevented from claiming a certain location for sake of gameplay, sense, or otherwise. Any unclaimed base at the end of this process will not be regulated by this process, and will be up for grabs in-character. The goal is to have this process completed over the break, allowing independent claims on launch.
