Yes I do LAURA, zeropants who was out there inthe outlands with me and saw me search the CP, RAd-x who was the tyrant and was involvedin the whole ordeall, The two men who helped me search goose's character. Goose being the CP, the 3 men who I asked for the CIDs, and the boonie hat man who I also was going to search.



Alright let's start at what happened first.
We where within the Tyrant's forge chamber. In there 3 people came from the CP tunnel, they looked like citizens, one having a armband on.
Thus I asked them to wait and I went to speak to the tyrant telling him people from the CP tunnel had arrived and what I should do.

The tyrant asked me what were their intentions, thus I responded I didn't know. The Tyrant then went to speak to them and once that was happening he spoke to me and asked if I was sure one of them was a CP. To wich I had said nothing about CPs I just mentioned they ahd come from the Tunnel. That's where my character realized, wait a minute... they could be an officer off suit.
I told the tyrant he should check them for their CIDS ( now talia were does this INFO come from?)

Well let's go back in time a good bit... a good long bit.
when maura was a CCA. Back in the CMU, when it was heavily understaffed, Maura despite being a director she had to deal with not only curing people but also the paper work. She was forced to perform surgery on CPs, citizens, Loyalists, vorts, every soul who walked through those doors. Hours and hours of MEDRP non stop, I gained enough medical knowledge from googling stuff to enter medical school.
But talia where does this tie in with your ban?


Well... let's talk about when I had to heal CPs. I had to several times search Cps for their medical stuff, search them out in the field when they were downed or search them inside the medical emergency room for medical supplies. But! let's not forget about the checkpoint outside the city, the one event where there was a massive PK on Cps from admin rebels firing RPGs and the likes. In this event I decided Maura would not allow her workers to go out there unprotected thus she went with them, followed them into the outlands despite being a director. Out there we were heavily hammered by the resistance, multiple cops dying, OTA falling like flies. This is were maura also decided to rob one out cold officer. LAURA's CP, She realized stuff was getting worsed. So she robbed her while she was out cold in a medical bed, removing her handgun and going through her stuff.

Now take into account, every one of this searches. She always found their CID, multiple searches.. many of them! So she always realized.. the CP CID looks different... it's a series of numbers instead of a name...

Now you see the ties, when she came back towards the tyrant talking to those 3, she decided it was a safe bet to see their CIDs. So she took them into the back and asked the 3 of them to please place their CIDs down on the floor and let her look at them. They complied fully and so she looked and nodded allowing them to retrive them and remain inside.

That's when the gate opened some more people entering, she moved towards that same tunnel wich was the way of the CPs had came from before as mentioned by the tyrant earlier when he had to send his warriors to fend off the CPs from getting too close. I arrived and asked. ''who came through this gate?'' to wich someone responded ''these two''. A man in a booonie hat and mask and a male in a tier 2 armor. I looked at both and asked them to come with me, i brough them away and asked to see their CIDs.

First: the boonie man said ''mine was destroyed''
The other one refused to show his CID saying he wasn't comfortable.

So Maura responded with ''well then you won't mind if I search you both right? There won't be a problem'' given if they didn't have a CID then they had no fear of me searching them.
The boonie hat man was spectical about it in fear I would rob him. But after assuring I wouldn't he accepted being searched.
This is were the other male ( the CP) said he wanted to leave and did not want to be searched, he started to walk to the gate to wich Maura told him if he tried to leave she would go fetch him. So to come back and let hear search them both. He refused, thus Maura went to call her friends and bring them over to help her with the guy who was trying to escape while the other was FULLY complying. So they managed to get the man into the corner, where he finally complied. There Maura went to search him, but she didn't have to even see the CID as she was met with a full CP suit, stunstick, USP and PDA. She panicked and yelled out ''FUCK- CP!'' This is were it then unrolled from.


There was no metagame, the entire thing was fully Rpd and there was a reason behind the happenings. Maura had full IC knowledge of CP CIDs being different given the fact she had seen so many of them from searching officers back in the CMU time and in the outlands with LAURA's CP.

I also would've liked if I was aproached about this in the discord, allowed to give my reasoning as opposed to fully banning me.. withotu allowign me to respond to the questions at hand. All I was asked was a ingame PM of ''why did you only search him?'' to wich I explained why but I wasn't asked HOW I had knowledge on CIDs differences.

I must also add that I didn't know there was a cp along them. I wasn't DMd, PMd, I did not check the roster, I did not pm the users to check their character names, I had no way to know oocly they were cps.
I only knew he was a cp after I searched and looked into his inventory and afterwards when I received a dm from that same player with just a photo showing that the officer who I had found out was Goose.

The same officer who was alive at the time were Maura was a cca, I asked her some questions and to answer truthfully.
She was the officer I mentioned in the Outlands whom I searched and robbed her of her stuff.
Below are the images of our conversation, I also asked for consent to post these images here and she gave her consent to do so.

This further proves That Maura several times saw several cp CIDs and is fully capable of having such information.

Okay, I got Neonity's explanation of the ban over Discord, and the situation fully refers to the act of searching the citizens for their CID. As this was done for the first time right as an undercover unit showed up, the assumption was metagame being the reason behind it.

What happened after the search got demanded in here hasn't really been put into question. Their reaction (especially Goose's reaction) did indeed make him suspicious (if this was a cop trying to search a citizen, nobody would blink if the cop thought it was sus), finding the CID card and items and drawing the conclusion that one citizen was an undercover unit is all legit here.

Now, with that in mind I went to search the logs to have a look of the citizens arriving at the camp up until the point they were asked to present their CID card. The take I took from the logs, checking in with Rad-X and Tali's statement in their posts above:

1. Citizens show up at the gate, Maura greets them and asks where they are from. The citizens themselves freely admits they are from the CP base.
2. Maura relays this information to Rad-X's character Tyrant, explicitly referring to them as 'citizens from the combine camp', not mentioning their numbers or suggesting they might be CP's or that there were CP's with them.
3. Tyrant gets confused by this and believes there to be a CP with this group, yet he only sees 3 regular citizens.
4. Tyrant, after interacting with the citizens, contacts Maura to check if they were sure there was a CP unit with the group. The miscommunication stems from the fact that Tyrant believed all groups 'from the combine camp' to be accompanied by CP units. Maura at no point suggested there were units with the group however.
5. Maura replies to Tyrant that they never said there were CP units with the group, but that they believe these people to be from the Combine camp (as they admitted it themselves). She explicitly mentions she assumes they are loyalists, but also admits that now the topic was raised that these people CAN be units without suits and suggests asking for their CID.
6. Maura continues to finish up their normal business for another 10 minutes, and then goes up to the group to ask their CID as nobody else had done so yet.

This heavily focuses on the communication between Tyrant and Maura as it clearly showed the thought process of both Rad-X and Tali, and how they misunderstood each others communication to arrive at the situation.

I do not believe there to be any metagame here. Rad-X's character, due to confusion entirely on Rad-X's side, raised the point to confirm if there might be units 'with the group'. Rad-X meant to ask after any CP units that were with the group when it arrived and then left leaving the 3 citizens there (because Maura said 'they were from the combine camp'). But Tali took this as meaning CP units disguised as citizens among the group of 3 that entered. This got the gears turning in Tali's head and made them suggest a way to check this. Nobody else checked it, so Maura checked it herself.

This appeal is accepted.

As a small addendum, a (limited) extract from the logs to support my conclusion above:

Maura greeting the citizens. One of the 3 replied on the question they were from the combine camp.

[IC] Maura Azure: Should I let the citizens in? They came from the CP camp.

Note the explicit use of 'citizens' here (Maura did not suggest in any way there might be units) and lack of number. When Rad-X only found 3 citizens, he got confused, believing there to have been more people present including at least one CP unit due to the claim that the citizens came from the CP camp. Rad-X was wrongly under the assumption that groups from the CP camp always were accompanied by a unit.

Tyrant -> Maura: YOU ARE CERTAIN THERE WAS A UNIT WITH THEM?
Maura -> Tyrant I didn't say there was a UNIT but I believe they are from the camp because they themselves admited to being from the combine camp. Probably loyalists but... now that you talk about it- Those pieces of shit CAN be a unit out of uniform... ask them for their CID....

The PM's that really showed the confusion going on, and Tali's/Maura's thought process on the matter. Rad-X/Tyrant was the first to mention there being a unit with the group due to the wrong assumption he made as explained above.
