Disclaimer

I'll say this right off the bat; I'm not familiar with Willard's code or coding in general. My suggestion purely comes out of my own experience. Also, I don't have the expectation for everything mentioned to be added as worded, this is purely a rough idea. Do keep these in mind and have fun reading through!

Its use in general

I believe this addition will add some interactivity to a shift, the labourers could sit down on stools to do their work, perhaps turn on/off their light or set a radio to a different station. Of course it could all be done via staff, but in my experience having the workshift's foreman place the entities exactly where he/she wants and whenever is much better and more enjoyable.

This feature could also be great when tasked with installing entities. For example, if a combine lights need to be placed down, the employee could spawn them and place it down, then test how they work and call a GM to perma it. Easy and good for both sides.

What a setup would look like. Much better!
Possible restrictions

Obviously, abusing this would lead to punishment. My suggestion is between 25-30 entities. Why? Well, that is all you should really need for a workshift. Of course a more allowing entity limit, or no limits at all would be nice.

I don't need to say, but just in case. This authorization should only go to characters who are CWU whitelisted.

TLDR/What's in it for you?

Better shifts, by interactivity.
Increased workshift creativity
Possibly more cozy shifts

More freedom on shifts
Decrease the over reliance of staff

Closing notes

Thanks for reading my little suggestion. If you feel like what I mentioned is a great addition, then please do vote. It should be at the top-right on PC. With all that said, I hope you have a great rest of your day or night.

I assume pet flags do not, at this time, convene to appetize entity spawning?
Or perhaps they might, but the C menu is unable to be readily available to change props into entities for people even given temporary flags in the faction?

Either way, what we could do is try to move those props with the alternations into the Q Menu spawn for easier access. Maybe that might help you and anyone else on interest?

If I understand you correctly, then I have two answers.

1. From my experience, the c menu cannot change props into entities with the CWU flags. I'll have to try it out when possible to prove my claim.

2. If the C menu does work, then your suggestion would be a blast.

I hopped on the server to try. As a regular CWU joe, you cannot spawn entities and the C menu has no changes compared to vanilla gmod

I will look into something that should allow CWU workers specifically to do this... maybe other factions too.

Accepted for now with implementation TBD.
