The Ascensionist Movement is in such a unique moment of history.
The Devotionists have dissolved, and opposition is mute.
We wish to take advantage of a clear opportunity when we see it. The Ascensionist Movement is our LIFE, it is the air we breathe, it is the ideas that swirl in our heads, it is the words we SPEAK.
We cannot neglect it; that is why we must CEMENT it in this city. We are presented with an opportunity to make our beliefs, our ideas, the city's idea. With no viable opposition, no detractors or oppositionists within the Collaborators Party, we MUST centralise our power.
The Enlightened Revolution aims to do just that, as you have all read. The Enlightened Revolution is a sweeping cultural, political, scientific and military revolution. It is a change of thought and policy; it is a condemnation of the past and a victory for the FUTURE.
I am proud to announce that the law passed through the Security Council, 'The Mandate of Production', will be used to signify the beginning of the Enlightened Revolution. When that law goes into effect in one week and one day, The Enlightened Revolution will begin. This city will be swept with change. I stress this to you, however, party comrades, we do not make false promises.
Because where did false promises get this city? It fractured the trust of the people, broke our image and made us seem like some sort of...LIARS!
Past Administrative failures were because false promises were made, understand this in your Ascensionist thought comrades, please, WE DO NOT MAKE FALSE PROMISES!
Every policy we deliver will be fulfilled, every broadcast we make will carry weight and consequence, every newspaper we distribute will bring important news, every factory quota will be met, and every battle with the insurgents will end in total victory!
Some of the...former detractors are the rootless bourgeoisie with no connection to City 24. Their only interest is to line their POCKETS. They are the beneficiaries of the status quo, complacent and happy if City 24 sat as it was. They are scum of the highest order. I wish only DEATH for those traitors who intend to bring us down.
The Collaborators Party prior to my arrival was a bloated, corrupt and counter-collaborationist mess. Neither loyal nor even INTELLIGENT. It hosted the worst people; we should thank Our Benefactors, the Hyper-Republican traitors, the reformist compromisers and the status quo have been expelled from our political scene. But it is not enough to merely EXPELL THEM from the political scene. All those people require now is a BULLET; they stand as the last bastion of potential opposition to our plans.
This goes without saying: ANYONE who tries to stand in our way and PREVENT THE ENLIGHTENED REVOLUTION DESERVES DEATH, NOTHING MORE, NOTHING LESS!
THIS MOVEMENT, OUR MOVEMENT, WILL NOT BE STOPPED BY CAUTIOUS POLITICIANS OR REFORMIST LIBERALS. IT WILL NOT BE STOPPED BY LAW OR ORDER. IT MUST BE ENACTED BECAUSE WE NO LONGER HAVE A CHOICE IN THE MATTER!
Party comrades, City 24 does not WORK for the average citizen. It does not cater to them, it does not SPEAK TO THEM, LET US SPEAK TO THEM!
The Enlightened Revolution will bring us to such a position, and soon we will become the official ideology of this city and no one, NO ONE, shall stop us!
