Brief History
Members of the Italian Mafia have been reported to be within the region of Switzerland for the past forty years, making their presence known during these times. The Geneva Connection, was Italian's dating back to the early eighties who had controlled the trafficking of drugs, and businesses, in-and-out of Geneva. Within the early eighties, the trafficking of drugs and crimes committed by the connection were controlled by the Capo of the Palma family, Antonio Giordano, and Underboss of the family, Giovanni Palma. Since the eighties, and throughout the nineties; the connection grew, and maintained crime within the City, with the boss of the family, Louis Giordano, passing away back in the late nineties; Antonio Giordano, his nephew; had taking the acting role of boss of the family until the catastrophic events of the Resonance Cascade in 2001.
After the event of the Resonance Cascade, the connection quickly dwindle; the acting boss of the family, Antonio Giordano, was killed by the Combine, along with the Underboss at the time, Giovanni Palma; with the family in disarray, and the rest of the family maintaining their role within the city of Lucca, Italy; the family quickly became nothing, with the Combine now in control of them, it was almost guaranteed that they would never reach the heights as they once were. However, come current date, Louis Palma, the son of Giovanni Palma; has recently been transferred to City Twenty Four; where it all started.
Ranking Structure
Above is the ranking structure of this group, at the moment very little roles are filled out; if you're interested in fulfilling any of these roles, I would be more then happy to assist you in creating a character, and developing them. Please understand this is a realistic portrayal, we'll not be jumping ranks and so on; however, we do require to fill the higher ranks. Everyone will be expected to prove themselves, with their RP and schemes; once that is done, you'll start to climb. An exception to this might be if we're limited at the top ranks, however, if permitted by myself, this will be done with a proper introduction and made sure to be a realistic manner.
OOC Information & Advice
While we would like to involve everyone within the group itself, to get a way into the group and ranking itself, your character will need to be Italian, or have Italian heritage. (Italian American, etc, etc) As stated above, we're trying to portray a realistic portrayal to Organized Crime within a HL2RP universe; this does not mean, if you're not portraying an Italian character, you cannot be involved; we're open to doing business with whoever, and whenever; so please, don't feel the need to avoid us if you're not Italian, but please keep in mind the realistic portrayal we're trying to fulfil here! Along with this, any questions, please give me a PM over here or Discord; I am more then happy to assist in creating a character, or just any questions in general. Along with this, if you see any mistakes here? Please just give me a DM, I am more then willing to adapt this where needed!
