Now, in order to make a 'Small Crate', it is necessary to use a 'Medium Container'. Thus, we spend more resources in order to get a smaller capacity. It has no logic.

I think in order not to significantly change the crafting, but to make it more logical, it would be appropriate to make the following replacement: For crafting "Small Crate", use not "Medium Container", but "Small Container". Thus, for more resources, we will get a larger capacity.

6x8 allows you to store items 6 slots long, which can store items that are six slots long.

Not to mention, the added length can allow you to store an extra tall melee weapon.

I am unsure if any weapons are six slots long, besides the RPG ( i think that's eight) but maybe a rebel with more experience can help tell you why

There is 0 point in making a crate. Don't do it. As far as i know the largest melee weapons are 5x1.

Hey, thank you for pointing this out. This seems to have been a long-standing developmental oversight.

I will be pushing a change later today to expand the crate from 6x6 spaces to 7x7 spaces. This should net you 49 total slots in the crate, over the 36 previously.
