Waiting in line for what seemed like hours, you were almost wondering if it was even worth it.
When it was finally your turn, you hold your identification card over the reader. Then you wait. More.
The terminal finally feeds you your rationing packet. You pick it up, and discover an extra five pounds to your ration.
Filled with surprise and curiosity to what was inside, you open it before you even arrive back to your apartment.
Any last sliver of hope is ripped away from your hands as you realize what was adding weight to your ration:
