Over the last week, I have spent my time traversing Black Mesa in order to get this little piece of shitty fabric to Xen where it belongs and today...I HAVE ACHIEVED THIS.

However, I've only learned now that I need to beat the Nihilanth and get to the *Very End* of the game, instead of ending at the portal...

Over the next four days, I will be documenting my slow Descent into insanity as I describe the painful ways on how to escape through Xen while fending off Gonarch attacks, outrunning Gargantuans and evading giant screaming fetuses all while clutching onto this dumbass hat.​

CHAPTER: XEN​

=============================

Xen, always a visually beautiful looking chapter to introduce the complete overhaul of textures, props and NPC's. First half hour was an easy trip, jumping island to island with no problems whatsoever...

But holy fuck, after that point I was reintroduced to houndeyes...and their sonic blasts which throw my hat off at every chance it gets..., now pair that alongside really steep cliffsides about a metre wide...

Whole factory puzzle was smooth sailing...until a glitch happened and I had to reload a save to go back about an hour of progress. So after completing the chapter twice, we're moving onto The Gonarch Lair...Oh Boy​
