The 51st Guards Artillery Division
220px-51st_Guards_Artillery_Brigade_insignia.png

We drove the enemy from our land once.
We will do so again.

The 51st GAD have their origins from the formation of the 83rd Corps Artillery Regiment during 1942, attaining Guards status after heroic action in the Battles of Rzhev. Bombarding and pushing back the enemy from Smolensk, through Operation Bagration and finally leveling Köningsberg.
Relocated to The Byelorussian Soviet Socialist Republic in 1960 before finally becoming the 51st Guard Artillery Division in 1972.

maxresdefault.jpgAfter the collapse of the Union, the Division found itself being integrated in the new Belarusian army. Though even through several reorganizations the Division kept it's name and titles earned in service to the Proletariat.

The Division found itself relatively under-strength and under-equipped by the time of The Seven Hour War, trying their hardest to provide effective artillery cover and counter-battery action against the Extra-dimensional Invader. This however proved futile, and large swaths of the division surrendered together with the government, with the rest fleeing into exile.

Many years later, either through desertion of Combine Conscript forces or the linking up of Exiles, old Comrades have once more found each other and resurrected the 51st Guards Artillery Division. Eventually joining up with the other Soviet oriented remnants into the CCCP, providing their experience with the many heavy guns the Motherland once produced.

Arkasha Alexeyev was but a young man when assigned to The 51st Guards Artillery Division. Working his way up over the years from simple ammo carrier, to loader till eventually put in charge of a battery. Picking up many useful skills when it comes to logistics, timing and planning killzones by pre-calculating trajectories.

By the time of the Combine invasion, Arkasha had plenty of experience shelling Xenian infestations of the land into oblivion when so needed. Sadly, one can only send so many shells down range before the threat of the battery being overrun forced him to order a hasty retreat as the entire frontline collapsed in less than an hour.

Over the years Arkasha has grown, drilling himself more and more on the importance of effective fire now that shells were harder and harder to come by. His greatest achievement fighting alongside the CCCP being the one who formally re-organised the remnants of his Division back into the streamlined fighting force it used to be.

Now the gates of Moscow await. Death will rain down upon the traitors and invaders.

The picture and the post are legit one of those Lore vs Gameplay memes, Love it,

Tank Positions are filled and so are Howitzers.

I'll need a few men willing to do God's work as frontline mortar men and frontline anti-tank.

I'll be deciding on Infantry Squad Leaders soon.

In the event that a member of your Squad doesn't show up on the 12th it'll be in the hands of Squad Leaders to poach new people.
In the event that your Squad Leader doesn't show up, elect a new one for the meantime and take over all duties.

Let us secure the bread, gentlemen.

(247th Guards Air Assault Regiment)
maxresdefault.jpg

Character Name: PFC. Oskar Beninski.
Backstory: Former Soviet VDV Member during the Chechen wars a member of the 247th Guards Air Assault Regiment 7th Division as an AutoRifleman, Operating at the time a modernly outfitted version of the RPD Which was used in deployments to Chechnya attached to a motorized unit carrying BMP-2's and BTR-90's during the early 2000's However post seven hour war Beniniski instead of surrendering alongside other pockets of VDV Personnel who refused to surrender joined up with the Soviet Reclamation Front, Mainly operating outside of the city in the Russian wilderness training Civilian volunteers and assisting wherever he could. Though Ethnically Polish Oskar is also half Russian from his father's side which is mainly where his loyalty to Russia begins and his service to the soviet union is where the loyalty Ends, He's not entirely a communist ideologically however when amongst Soviet cadre and military it's important for someone especially of the VDV To maintain a Politically correct attitude and conform to the rules of the party and of the union Having trained in the mid to late 90's whilst under the Soviet banner of the ABT Airborne troops As a member of the Polish People's Republic having Joined just prior to the collapse of the Union. And having served for some time prior to the BMI and the SHW.

Specialization: Air assault and tactical infiltration, Typically behind enemy lines in-order to ambush and destroy enemy positions/assets etc.. And sabotage. In the years since the end of the war Oskar had

"Victory shall belong to us comrades we will Smash the fascist conscripts like our comrades in London weeks ago and re-take the motherland!"

(Highly recommend adding a flak gun)
(There's a little more to this character's backstory that I may delve further into should it become necessary in the near future)
