Our Message, Our Mission
City 24 is under attack. Not by a grand enemy which stands outside the city walls, no, something deeper, something rotten. Our great city has been facing a shadow war, a hostile invasion led by the men and women which we have placed the majority of our trust in to. The politicians, the corporatists and industrialists, charged with the task of raising our cities to a higher standard of living. That couldn't be further from the truth!
The will of the people has been bought out from under them, totally unaware their will was for sale in the first place. The people, now entertained with vicious trends, speciesism, materialism, loyalism, always so concerned with their own selves and how they can put others down, totally unaware that the ground which they stand on has been sold to the highest bidder, and now serves a lower purpose, as a trampling ground for the newest ideology and a place to sell your newest drink.
Have you ever stopped to really think? How is it that the newspaper preaches great victories against the "enemy", yet you have no hot water this month? When it the last time you took a shower, warm or cold? What was the last non-ration meal you had? Or, better yet, when have you seen a public park that wasn't overrun or filled with trash? Or, dare we ask, when is the last time you had a Bank Soda? What do you think about Arts and Culture in City 24? Most people aren't able to tell you the last time they bathed, or the past time they had real vegetables, but they can tell you their favorite Bank Soda flavor, and how much they hate Vortigaunts!
This is a problem. The hard-working people of City 24 have been led to believe their government works in their best interests. The Truth Union seeks to prove how truthful this is. We are a non-profit journalistic and political action committee dedicated to political accountability and the erasing of all corporate meddling and interest in this great city.
OUR VALUES AND GOALS
NO MORE CORPORATE MEDDLING. We seek to remove the corrupting influence if Tenzhen Industries from all cities which bear the name "24" and send the greedy businessmen back to where they came from. They have seduced the people of City 24 long enough; they have profited millions off of our hard work. We will be run by native businesses, not foreign investors.
No political party, no pretending "movement" of the people is safe from our gaze. We demand accountability and truth only to be spoken from our leaders. Those who take corporate funds and side with the very same agents destroying our cities will have their secrets revealed to the world. Their name, tarnished.
