Thoughts on District 9 so far?

Entrance to the Outlands isn't accessible, all Slum-areas are patrolled by CPs that will kill you if they see you. Not many scavenging spots, it's pretty much just a slaughter-house where all the civilians are kept inside of one tiny sector and grind the same 3 scavenging spots if they don't want to get slaughtered by CP Squads.
Is there even a boundary for area's CP's aren't supposed to visit in this map? C24 had the slums which were obvious, but I can't really find a good physical example of where that boundary would be on this map.

Liking it so far. Tho i have been having problems with crashes and screen frezzing everytime there some action.

There’s an IC reason preventing them from doing so.
Not the point. Yesterday the braindead interns on duty just walked off, refusing to do any roleplay and instead preferring to man the reception for the rest of the day, while today a doctor did the right thing and took my character in, cleaned his wounds and bandages while explaining that was all he could do without any medical supplies.
If some people in your medical faction think the scarcity of meds means they shouldn't do any medRP with anyone not on the verge of death then that's pretty stupid.

Same rules for the slums, they haven’t changed. Just that folks are giving CPs reasons to actually go in and sweep. On v4, there wasn’t much reason to go into the slums other than the occasional sweep. On this map, people keep giving us reasons to be in there.

bro this shit is too dark man wtf im not in pripyat yo
then we got cp's being mental in the head as usual
the rebels are just generally fucked lmao fuck you
cmu is pretty useless (as you should)
cwu just gets ammo somehow
outlands is closed for whatever bumfuck reason
tbc just making the combat dog
busses blowing up
CCA is CCA
the floor is speaking again
chernobyl has appeared in the underground of slums
loyalists getting beat for once

Honestly If you have a main character, use a side character for this event until you are confident, otherwise you will embrace death
This event was only good for the CCA or smth and cops, the citizens are bozo'd again and rebels are atoms

I'm liking the industrial the aesthetic to it, feels much more gritty and oppressive than the old district.

One thing I want to see though apartments being implemented, especially seeing the disparity between underclass, ordinary citizen apartment's, and loyalist housing.

It'll give wannabe conformists more incentive, especially if loyalist housing looks luxurious compared to rundown average housing blocks.

they turned the only good apartments which were meant to be loyalist apartments according to the cp manifesto map into infestation zones, so that is why you don't see any good apartments.

I see 'Prosperity Housing' in the business district, and also just an unnamed apartment across from the scrap yard, near the community center. There's not very many actual rooms, only like 4 or 5 in each building. Unless it's going for a more communal living (several small bedrooms, and a shared bathroom/kitchen/tv room.
That would make sense for working class citizens in an industrial district.

I guess you can still RP living there. You just can't be 'assigned' to them, or have keys to it. Hopefully they do something with those buildings. And the infested zone loyalist housing, once it's cleared out maybe.

I have just lived there.

The housing block from the main square should have been propped as public dormitories from the get go. Just throw a bunch of bunk beds there with a working kitchen. Anything that helps the basic citizen character eventually trickles down into activity for the rest of the factions.

Day 3. CWU Worker runs over a man with a bus, killing him. Worker then proceeds to tie the man to the back of the bus, in full display, in order to transport said corpse.

Iconic.

ran over some dumbass citizen with an APC, willard has never been better

Kinda shitty map. As it was on WN7. Not very suitable for maximum online ~25 people.
No smugglers
No trash spawns
No slums
And probably not so much of things that can be done.

I don't like it.
