The Grind

When I look at Loyalist RP on Willard I mainly see a stagnated mess. The time where being a tier four felt special is now kind of over, as long as you can grind to tier three and get some special recommendation then you're set. I don't hate this system, but it needs to feel rewarding to accomplish. Perhaps actual pre-requisites to actually obtaining Tier two or three that is outside of just "Reach 125 SC". This would be a bit more hands-on than the current system. Perhaps attending certain loyalist events for you tier, networking, talking to people and the like. Something to give the grind a qualitative feel rather than just the numbers grind that everyone hates. It is the equivalent of the script grind of rebels for loyalist. This ultimately makes you feel like a Citizen apart of a group, rather than just being a person with a red armband. Giving actual weight and status behind the Tier is what needs to be in play. Honestly, besides a few benefits I genuinely couldn't tell you the difference quality wise between red tier and yellow tier.

Legislative Assembly

Honestly I dislike the new system of the LA, I don't really like it as a collaborator party thing only. While its previous iteration made it feel bloated and a logistical nightmare it had a really nice setting to it. For the main faction of the regular citizen collaboratorship it feels a little exclusive. Bring back the members, let it be a bloated mess and minefield of politics and bullshit people have to work through. Let there be rallies in the streets several times a week proclaiming why you're superior. Bring back political backstabbing where you can plant evidence of them being a rebel. Expand opportunity for those who wish to play a rebel infiltrator in the collaborator party. This is a great way for those to actually progress a character, as it becomes more qualative than just the number of SC you have.

Passive Events
This was greatly realised by the recent fair, it was brilliant and I think everyone loved it. Why aren't there more? These kind of events really flesh the city out and give loyalists things to do. Great opportunities to deepen the world of Willard and fun for everyone involved. These could be things from the fair, collaborators drinking party, feasts, leisurely strolls in Indigent and spitting on poor people. Really anything that isn't sitting on your thumb in the city for the seventh hour of the day.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

There are just a few things that I think could be reworked or redone slightly in loyalism. If you're not in a faction then the LA is most likely your main goal. To expand on the LA as a function of the collaborators party and loyalism in general would do wonders for truly bringing loyalism to life. I understand that it was changed from this before but I do genuinely believe that the D.A elections, political speeches, debates and the like were some of the most fun I've had ever playing a loyalist.

The return of political parties so Loyalists can have their own RP generation. And keep the CP's from immediately lumping the entire party together on a RICO case because someone threw a rock at an opponent. (Loyalists can also help do this by not making a militia as the beginning of their party)

Increase interactions with the Civil Protection. CP escorts instead of OTA, preferential treatment for even lower-level loyalists, have patrols function as "roaming workdesks" if they see something in the city they think they can have some fun with, summon citizens to deal with it and reward them. (workforce conscription)

SC rewards for stable employment, shop ownership, pro-social activity within political parties or Combine Organizations (CMRU and CWU apparently not having this is astounding), or just generally being seen to be a pro-social individual who keeps their nose out of trouble.
The Binders were meant to be the replacement of that, but then the new assembly rework by Heartwick came about, and they became pretty much irrelevant.

All I’ll say is loyalist RP is citizen RP but with armbands. The rewards you receive don’t really have a massive impact on how you roleplay. I’ve always found for loyalism to be effective they need to have real benefits and act risky. If you made food scarce and loyalist apartments have an actual function compared to citizen ones, then loyalism would be meaningful.

On the same line of thinking, loyalist characters have to be interesting. If you’re T6 and there’s another loyalist who’s grinding your gears, hire a T3 to make sure that opponent gets into an accident in exchange you’ll recommend the T3 to be T4, or start a loyalist militia that hunts down anti- citizen and beats the living shit out of them. It’s like citizen rp, rp is only what you make of it

Edit: Loyalism should be about going from the survival of citizen RP, where your main goal is way to survive to a point where you have access to food so that you don’t die and have the freedom to explore your character.
