My recount of time is lost, I don't even know what day of the week it is anymore. I don't think any of these people do. I'm practically shaken, not just at the fact I've been randomly transported to an interdimensional alien world, but on a personal level, too. I've only met this group and I already feel somewhat attached to their own emotions, I have no clue who this 'Wyatt' person was, yet I share the sorrow. Especially in the presence of these so-called 'Vortigaunt' creatures, I can sense the timeframe of months and months of a long struggle, a long haul, as if they've been watching
Yet as my stomach begins to grumble and my mouth begins to dry I can't even think about eating or drinking, my appetite levels have hit rock bottom after this. I still feel somewhat seasick, but I'd rather not throw up on-deck, so I might as well just stick by the ocean for now, see if I can get it out of me by facing the source of the problem, eh? Now in terms of interesting people I have met, well most of them really. This group is an interesting one, and whilst I miss my old friends I must leave my past behind me and accept those newcomers into my life. I cannot remember many names off the top of my head, but Jacob was the first man I had met, he has an interesting quirk about him and I have to thank him for helping me when I first met him, probably would've been too scared to progress otherwise. After meeting up with the rest of the group in an honestly very puzzling situation, it turns out I was turned in with the others to become a conscript of sorts, except the guys never gave me a weapon, so I had to salvage a couple out myself. Had an electric alien roach as a weapon, named it Sven, of course Jacob gave me the idea of giving it a name, too bad it died not long after I grabbed the sucker.
We fought some giant alien worm thing, no clue what to call it, so I'll just stick with that. Massive adrenaline rush for me and it made the whole thing admittedly quite fun. I felt so cool with Sven by my side, he was a good roach, I'll miss him. Then we go ahead and defeat the worm creature and this glowing Vortigaunt alien thing says something that I can't remember off the top of my head, and we all get transported to a ship which apparently these guys had been stationed on originally. The more you know I guess. But yeah, we had a meeting shortly after, lots of yelling, apparently this 'Wyatt' person got turned into one of the Vortigaunts, but then this man Karl has a disagreement with this other man Alex, yelling ensues, and then it dies down. So yeah, interesting time with these guys so far, hoping that together we can reach wherever our destination is and finally live a somewhat safe life. And as always I shall update this as time goes on.
What I have learnt today:
1. Never trust an alien force that previously invaded your own fucking home planet
2. When stranded in an alien dimension, find company if possible.
3. Trust your instincts when stranded in said alien dimension because if you think something seems off, you're probably right, I mean we're talking about an alien dimension here.
4. Alien weapons can be weird but super fucking cool.
5. Take your chances with any other human you meet, working together is a given at this rate, no one's surviving on their own with a multi-dimensional alien empire on the loose.
