I'm filing a complaint against @Neonity because he/she took a USP from my private container without my permission and without informing me that it had been removed, and because of this I felt as if I was being intruded. Neonity hasn't elaborated further on the item either.

On the 22nd (Oct), after the day of me finding a USP in the sewers, I got PM'd from Neonity, who questioned as to where the USP was (I stored it in my container at the time). When I asked why, Neonity said "it wasn't real" and that "I wasn't supposed to have it." I protested because the USP was within a player's grasp. I thought it was okay since I found it fairly. And after being told that the USP was "not real," I pointed out that the same thing had happened to me with a different item in the past, and I thought this: If an admin was aware that there were scripts that were not intended to be found ICLY, why would they keep them around? It's like bait to ruin your entire mood of finding a good item (as difficult as they are to make/obtain in the first place), only to have it taken away from you. So after I pointed out a similar situation in the past in the PM, Neonity hasn't written anything back, not elaborating further.

What I pick up is starting to be unclear to me because the items that are found in the sewers are either the consequence of an admin whoopsy or someone just dropped them, and because of that, I'm tired of having stuff taken away from me after I've earned them in-game through fairways. I'm also starting to get a distinct impression that I'm being watched by a no-clipping admin who has a particular interest in me a day after I pick up an item.

It completely detracts from my overall enjoyment of the server as a whole, and I consider that it is preferable to either remove the items or place them out of reach of the players. It also would have been far preferable if we had agreed on terms for me to keep the USP, but I'd have to rinse it ICLY using a synthetic item, which could then be acknowledged with a /me, preserving the pistol's functionality, making me work for it.

This item, among some others were deliberately placed in obscure locations. Without explaining further these are usually put in these places to bait out potential cheaters. These items are tracked and later retrieved as they weren't actually crafted or had any effort put into creating them in the first place. They were simply spawned using the Q menu, logged, and later retrieved after being found. The person who found them is then investigated for potentially cheating. This is known as an ESP trap.

This is fairly common and has succesfully worked many times, as people who found one of the traps later found another. They then get investigated and banned for cheating shortly after.

As for why I contacted you about it? You found the item in question during the time I was not on the server.
Funny thing is, logs, for some reason, do not log people putting items into containers. I could not find the USP on you, and logs never showed its destruction. The only reasonable assumption is it being stored into a container.

Since you refused to simply tell me where you put it, I had to dig through logs myself. Thanks for that, by the way. I searched through the logs and ended up finding your containers, after which I confirmed it was the right USP using its Item ID and swiftly removed it.

Logs also showed the item was never actually used, so no harm was done. All that happened to the item was me placing it, you picking it up, and stuffing it into a storage container never to be seen again.

I hope I informed you well enough with this. If you have any further questions, feel free to ask. If anything, I may have put the item in a spot where it could have been found legitimately. That's on me.

Understandable, thank you very much for taking the time to elaborate. I withdraw the complaint.
