Implemented Union cards should be bound to a CID and work like Storefront Keys.

As it stands having one stolen is an incredible security risk. Store keys have more security measures around them than Union cards do and can actually have their access disabled based on if someone is assigned the access or not. As it stands it basically opens every non-combine lock in the game and can be passed around like a hot rock.

I dunno, just seems like it is going to be abused at some point. Unless that is intentional. I would not argue it if even newly inducted members of any organization got unfettered access to every Union lock in the game.

In a way, I see your point. Your Union card being stolen I think should be fair game but I would argue that the more prudent route would be "tiered" locks, or "tiered" Union cards. Higher up the ladder cards can open up higher up the ladder locks. That way not every schmuck who happens to get their hands on a card can do damage.

On the other hand, as an anti-citizen, there's few things more exciting than getting a hold of a Union card to wreak some good old fashioned havoc and steal. Making CID and Union cards work synchronously? I feel like that'd really put a hamper on the excitement. Though tiered cards/locks may be a good middle ground.

I'd be fine with tiered union cards. But an apprentice being robbed for being dumb and not knowing how to properly play the role and giving anti-citizens unfettered access to the entire Union?

Anyone can see it's not sustainable.

seems like an ic issue to me.

Then you have no clue how poorly designed Union locks are when someone on a trial for a branch of the government has access to every government facility, regardless of relation, solely because the only method they have to access their place of work is a universal skeleton key that can for some reason be robbed or distributed.

His point still stands? It is his fault after all for being robbed. Be it where ever he was at the moment. Which leads to the fact btw, that mugging is still a rare occurrence these days ( for now at least)

I understand why it would be logical to have this binding thing but I would rather see tiered cards over bound cards.

Not really it's entirely a mechanical limitation issue. What organization would give out skeleton keys otherwise. Consider this my attempts to fix an obvious flaw in the system? Ideally bound to CID's. Or a compromise with tiered cards. If you can rob a member of management then you've earned the free all-access. Either way, please.
