Letter 'Until The Next' - Farewell

[vilhjalmrf]

Spoiler: Theme

Krah'Aur'Nur, The Movement, Indígena de Madrid

Different backgrounds. Different cultures. Different languages.
Hell, Aliens out of this world walk among us.
Despite all that, we stood together.
Faced what most would consider immeasurable odds.

A deck stacked against us.
Yet have proven that these oppressors cannot hold us.
With every step we take, their grip weakens.
There is hope, many more victories to come.

But you won't be there to see it, friends.
You won't know if any of this amounts to anything.
Maybe you had already made up your minds and carried through with faith.
Faith in that we will be free someday.

As I wished I was there with you in your final moments.
I know there is more to be done.
A long journey awaits us all who still remain.
Many other cities to free. More Combine to kill.

To those who came before us.
To those who died in City 59.
Who entered the darkest void.
And never came back out.

The world will remember you. We'll make sure of it.
