Why do you wish to be unbanned?:
I originally ran from the OTA on the streets into the sewers and whilst there was a head crab down below I sat above crouch jumping onto of the railings (I was in the middle of eating so was kind of just messing about whilst also eating). Then I realised the camera could clip into the floor and was just doing it out of boredom. I realise now that I was technically glitching and although I gained nothing from the glitching, I was kicked from the server for it. After the kick, I realised what I was doing was glitching and so broke the rules so when I rejoined I immediately stopped and just went down to talk with a friend of mine, thinking that since it didn't have a massive impact the kick would serve as enough of a reminder to not do it. Then I was banned for 7 days.
I think I should be unbanned because of two factors, I've had no previous warnings or negative interactions with staff members and secondly there was no ill-gotten advantage from the clipping under the walls. At most I got a view on two OTA units arresting some civi, but I don't know that civi nor was I at any point planning on going anywhere other than chilling in the sewers. Keep in mind my camera clipped through the floor at most 3/4 times, since it only occurs when you're crouch jumping and not standing. I think maybe Kappatalist thought that because I was standing still my camera was still clipping, but it wasn't - I was just away watching a video whilst I was eating (if you want a picture of my leftover food as evidence this can be provided!). Although I accept that I was glitching, I think a simple kick would suffice as a simple reminder to myself that hey you shouldn't be doing that.
I'd just like to add I'm relatively new to the server and serious HL2RP, I've really enjoyed playing the past week and have made some really cool friends so that's why I'd like to appeal - to accept an error was made but to jump back in and not do it again.
EDIT: I would just like to add I spoke with Kappatalist and he agreed that he banned me for 7 days as that's the required minimum but that he thinks a week is abit far. We've both been friendly and I don't hold any grudges against anyone for this, just wanna get back into the game.
