Denied Use D47_V2 and Not V1

Like already stated, we're currently looking into this; at the end of the day, it's a two week beta. The issue that I am having right now, is that your title includes. "(AKA LISTEN TO THE COMMUNITY)" - However, you've clearly indicated you've not liked that method by showing distaste in the community vote from your above comment?

Whatever we do, we're going to make this beta enjoyable for everyone who voted; that is our aim, we're not going to do anything that we don't, nor aren't confident, would work.

no just saying its funny to pick 2/3 in the name of “good decisions” when arguably the two you actually followed are terrible ideas

community wants what it wants though, if you think you can hold a 2 week beta and actually get players than power to yah
 
What we'll do for the BETA is effectively a 2 week event and with that in mind we had a deeper look at both variants available. The edited V2 lacks the dark atmosphere we'd like to offer and plus the extended train areas will likely push people out from the event areas and leave it abandoned.

@Merlinsclaw and besides that I really have to question whether you're causing drama over this for malicious reasons. You've disliked / shitposted every devblog we've made and generally only speak ill of what we do - Which makes me very unsurprised you're once again rushing to the nearest opportunity to cause more uproar.

Anyway I'm sorry if this has caused disappointment among members of the community but at some point we need to have some trust put into us that we're doing this with good intentions.

The fact that 66 players voted for the two week beta, yeah, I am confident they would atleast play. :)
 
Yeah idk why people voted for 2 weeks... it’s literally pointless to extend it further than a week

Merlisnclaw doesn’t have good intentions, he’s just looking for excuses to bitch about stuff. While I agree with him that we should use v2, I’m not gonna scream at the fact that we’re using a worse version. I don’t like it, but it is what it is. At least it’s not unplayable

It was a massive majority; we're planning an event to last that long, so definitely going to have stuff to do. Overreacting before we have even released details about what specifically it's going to be is stupid. (Not you btw)

Maybe it’s called foresight to realize a shitty map no one voted for + no saved rp + 2 weeks is a recipe for not working past day 3-4?

I’ll quote this either way it goes though. I just only see it working if rp saves or it’s one week.

Ignore me though. Le thread locked and we’re working on it.
