Brief Description:

The Hammer Regiments are a primarily Eastern Slavic (Ukrainian and Russian) Conscript Regiment drawn up from the remnants of the Russian and Ukrainian Militaries shortly after Unification. With most of its Ranking Soldiers forcefully turned over to the Transhuman Arm for further processing. Leaving the remnants of these remaining groups of men at arms. The

joint remnants of the Belorussian, Russian, and Ukrainian militaries into one standardized series of Conscript Regiments. Bereft of personality and any sort of personality. A husk of what they once were. An army of dead men to be ground to dust against anything the Combine sees as a threat in the Belorussian Forests.

Equipment and Composition
The Hammer Regiment Conscripts are typically equipped with Soviet and early Post Soviet Equipment. With many Conscripts equipped like a Soviet Soldier from the 80s with smaller formations of specialized units equipped with moderately more "Modern" equipment.

A typical Conscript is equipped extremely conservatively. With very few fighting men wearing any sort of personal combat armor at all. With the vast majority equipped with outdated Soviet Armor designs made primarily of titanium or early ceramic based gear. AK Variants of all types are also used by infantrymen of the Regiment ranging from the AKM to the AK-74. With Light machine guns such as the PKM or RPD being used on a small scale.

The Regiment is composed of only around 2000-2300 soldiers at any given time and often dripping below the 1800 mark due to attrition and combat or in rare circumstances, desertion.

Vehicles:
Hammer Regiment Vehicles had been salvaged from wrecks and otherwise destroyed or damaged vehicles during the 7 hour war and are considered to be extremely basic in design. Easy to repair, and easy to pilot. However, each Tank or Armored car in their possession are invaluable artifacts of an age past and if destroyed a second time. The vehicle in question is typically left to rust, with its components sabotaged so that roving Rebels or nomads roaming the outlands of Belarus do not recover them in an intact state.

The Hammer Regiment only has about 15 working Tanks of varying makes and models. Typically those of mid to late Soviet Main Battle-tanks such as the T-64 and its variants and a few T-72 variants with only a single T-80 BVM acting as a command vehicle for the entire tank formation of the Hammer Regiment. Which is religiously protected due to its understandably, extremely advanced nature compared to the rest of the Regiment's tanks.

The Regiment uses a small group of motorized and mechanized vehicles for logistics transport and infantry deployment. With many outdated vehicles such as BMP-1 being used in limited amounts. The main group of motorized vehicles used by the Regiment are cold-war era logistic trucks and lorries. And with every vehicle destroyed in the field or lost due to hostile alien lifeforms or exceptionally crafty Resistance groups. The pool of vehicles used by the Regiment is slowly decreasing with more and more of its personnel forced to mobilize against their assigned foe through foot marches rather than vehicle transport.

The Imminent Demise of the Hammer Regiment:
Pictured: A Hammer Regiment Conscript Column marching against the Soviets. Every man in this photo is confirmed KIA.

The demise of the Hammer Regiment remains a very real threat to the Conscripts of the Hammer Regiment. With every grinding small campaign against the resurgent Soviets that have surrounded Moscow or every encounter with Alien Lifeforms or Portal Storm anomalies have slowly ground the Regiment's fighting strength over time. And now remains one of the smallest Conscript regiments underneath the Combine's Eurocomm Command. And the atmosphere every new or Veteran Regiment Conscript know is that of bleak dreariness.

There is no hope of survival. Fight the Soviet Rebels, who will simply kill them upon surrender. Or pray for a chance of reprieve from the Combine Transhuman Command Teams that make up the upper echelons of the Regiments. Who will not tolerate any sort of seditionous act. All of which is a pretty bleak outlook for the fighting men of the Regiment. They are here to die, to be ground to dust under the Communist Juggernaut, Be killed by a Xenian Lifeform, or to be summarily executed by Combine Ordinals for disobeying. They all know that once they receive orders to the Hammer Regiment they are destined to die. As apart of the Combine's intensions of total genocide against the human race.

For a Conscript of the Hammer Regiment, it is a choice of death, or desert and pray that the Communists do not take him alive.
