The Association of Southeast Asian Nations, often referred to as "The Jakselians", were originally a small battalion of ASEAN forces lead by Yulio Kaban that were able to avoid Combine conscription into SUKARNO and educated a small percent of rebellious populace within South Jakarta to form a paramilitary. Although mostly inconspicuous throughout its existence and were known to not directly engage the Combine, they were the primary force behind what has been known as the Second National Revolution until they engaged in combat with Overwatch Standard Forces Division "SUKARNO" in the Battle/Liberation of Jakarta, resulting on the group being almost entirely wiped out and with the Crude Oil Manufacturing District being deemed Malignant in August of 2017. Although formerly comprised of ASEAN forces, it is now made up of a loose militia of mostly Javanese, Chinese and Japanese ethnic peoples, with an extreme anti-caucasian and anti-black sentiment to other nationalities who are not of Asian origin resulting in extreme restrictions, if not full rejection. They maintain the diehard belief that they are the remnants of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations and have been fighting the Combine for almost 25 years straight.
The Jakselians have claimed to have first started to engage with members of the public as early as midway through the Liberation of Jakarta. Underground divisions were formed earlier than the founding of Sixty through the form of a "contingency plan" that has been kept confidential among the highest ranking members of the faction and is claimed to still be enacted, with everything allegedly being within tolerance of it. They are known to have inhabited South Jakarta's ruins (being the origin of their name) for a significant portion of time until the complete takeover of the region by Race X forces, and even despite this rumors exist that large remnants of the group still persist within hiding, albeit mainly focused within the sewers.
They are mainly known by the civic populace as a force of evil after their attempt to cause rebellion within Jakarta within the Crude Oil Manufacturing District's southern territories from the 6th of April-21st of August, deemed as the Second National Revolution. Organised after years of preparation and gradual acquirement of firearms through a slow monotonous process, an incredibly well disciplined and abundant paramilitary began to cause havoc in the streets stretching as far as the former territory of Tangerang destroying factories, buildings and creating mass killings of those they deemed "Rajas" that prospered under the new oppressors. With a death toll documented to be 250,000 from both civilians, rebel members and civil protection over the months, the event appeared to have backfired for the Jakselians who have severely dropped in membership after a campaign promised pardons to those that participated in it in exchange for continued collaboration, and caused the civic populace to grow a great disdain for the barbaric nature of rebellion that caused such havoc on the streets - 9% more of the underclass population, roughly 23,000, obtained a social credit score of 100 within 6 months of the incident's end.
Currently, the Jakselians exist as half myth and half rump state compared to what they used to be and now exist as an insignificant gang amongst the hundreds of conflicting factions in the MCOMD. However, according to them, everything is within tolerance of the ASEAN's contingency plan.
this is linked with https://willard.network/forums/threads/v3-city-sixty-jakarta.7758/ which I am the author of- specifically the "Malignant Crude Oil Manufacturing District". I made this a separate page because I feel like the page would become too big with this included, it is something I thought of after the article was accepted, and the fact that this is a relatively big change I want to be accepted before I implement it. If this is accepted, place it within City Sixty's Malignant Crude Oil Manufacturing District.
