Summary:​
Intelligence was received regarding an illegal weapons exchange scheduled to occur in the outer canal sector of City 36. An operation was immediately initiated to intercept and neutralize all involved parties. Multiple units were dispatched and stationed covertly around the suspected meeting site.

Operational Timeline:​

09:30, Initial Deployment: Officers deployed to the designated site in anticipation of contact between sellers and buyers.

12:49, Buyer No-Show: After extended surveillance, the suspected buyers failed to appear.

13:27, Command Dispute: Tension arose among Rank Leaders over the prolonged inactivity. Discussions ensued about whether to withdraw or proceed with an intervention.

13:45, Dispatch Decision and Unauthorized Breach : Dispatch eventually authorized an assault on the site. But before coordinated actions could commence, officer U-62—who had undergone prior APC training—unilaterally drove PATROLLER-16 through the side wall of the occupied warehouse.

13:46, Engagement: A brief but intense firefight ensued. All hostile 647e operatives present were neutralized.

13:48, Recovery: A significant cache of illegal weapons was recovered from the site.​

Summary:​

Following prolonged unrest and multiple armed incidents, the socio-stability of City C36 was downgraded to RED. Intelligence indicated elevated risk of uprising and organized assaults on Combine infrastructure. Amidst this crisis, a decision was made to extract a dozen HVTs—key individuals either formerly affiliated with rebel cells or possessing strategic intelligence—via secure razor train transport.
To facilitate this operation, OTA forces were dispatched to sweep the transit corridor. Airwatch scanner patrols confirmed temporary clearance of the extraction path. The convoy consisted of the following assets:

2x Carriers: CARRIER-04, CARRIER-93

The HVTs were evenly distributed between the two Carriers. The final departure was logged at 14:30 from the main garrison.

Operational Timeline:​

14:30, Initial Deployment: Officers and OTA assets depart.

15:23, Sector 12: Convoy enters Sector 12, an abandoned region previously cleared by scanners but known to have occasional residual necrotic presence. OTA assets move on ahead to clear the way.

15:56, Ambush: The convoy is ambushed by armed 647es and outland biotics. The assault began with PATROLLER-32 being destroyed via high-explosive detonation from an unidentified explosive device, followed by coordinated small arms fire and biotic lightning projection attacks.

15:57, SOS call: Civil Protection units within CARRIER-93 initiate emergency protocol and call for help. In an effort to prevent prisoner escape, 5 of the 6 HVTs inside are amputated.

16:01, Escape: All CP unit's are eliminated. Remaining HVT's and hostiles evacuate the scene.

16:05, Backup arrives: Overwatch reinforcements respond to the distress signal but arrive to find the attackers have gone on arrival. They secure the area and recover surviving CP units.​

Despite mounting suspicion, evidence remained circumstantial. Under multiple interrogations, U-62 denied any wrongdoing, citing a misidentified movement in the periphery and asserting he attempted to alert his fellow units. He accused his Rank Leaders of scapegoating him due to personal grievances and tensions.
Discrepancies in testimonies between officers and subordinates cast further doubt on the leadership's narrative. Internal conflict among investigators, Rank Leaders, and MCP administration stalled progress. An attempt to authorize amputation was overruled by MCP investiagtors due to insufficient evidence.
U-62 was ultimately charged with critical mission failure. He was blackmarked and subjected to disciplinary sanctions. His protests of innocence were dismissed.

I've been having this dream for some time now... I can't really explain it but, it makes me feel strange in a way.
I'm standing on a flat pitch black surface that stretches on for miles. Above me, an orange sky, almost like a sunset. And in the distance, a shadow. I can't make out any details, everything is blurry like I'm looking though wet glasses or something. Then I just wake up, confused. I'll keep tabs on this dream, just in case. Might be just stress, at least I hope it is...

Ive had the same dream again. Only this time it was different. The orange sky was still there but i was standing in the middle of a busy street, with workers, citizens, and even cops walking around as if nothing was happening. Everything looked hazy again, but i can still make out that same dark figure in the middle of the streets. RIght as i notice it everything goes black for a split second and the street becomes empty. All that's left is just me and the dark figure. I can almost make out some details about it but it's still too hard to tell. Then i wake up once again. Is there a meaning behind those's dreams?

Well, this might be it. The end... Honestly, i didn't picture it ending like this. Though to be honest, i knew it was over the moment we lost that tower, it was just a matter of time. And time has finally caught up to us.
I though i'd end up at the end of a rope or in front of a firing squad, god knows i deserve it.
It's been a few day's living alongside rebels and former cops now and, oddly, i feel some what at peace, i guess? I should be stressed or something, but im not. Stranger still, i've finally been able to get a proper night sleep witout having that damn dream. Was it guilt that kept me up at night, or was it something else? I might never know. Doesn't matter anymore.

A brave new world is coming, and who knows, maybe i'll be forgiven for all i've done. Probably...
For now though, i gotta' focus on quitting smoking for real this time.
