City 13, Months after the start of the occupation.
Following the establishment of the official Railway network tasked with delivering supplies into the city, local resistance Fighters knew that time was of the essence before security measures were installed and the ability to utilize the railway for resistance benefits would be forever lost. The schedules were consistent and the maps were clearly drawn. Leading the operation was none other than Gaspard Cousteau and his sister Judith. Together they would successfully lead 12 other resistance Fighters into the successful stopping and hijacking a razor train with assets that were destined for City 13. What they originally suspected to be a shipment of medical supplies and nutritional supplements for high-ranking loyalist turned out to be dozens of shipments packed to the brim with ballistics and ammunition.
The crew were more than eager to get their hands on such firearms and utilized every second to fill their pockets and break for the distant Hills. With this newfound supply of munitions, questions began to arise to as of what exactly to use such Luxurious assets for. Despite the fact that many of the participants requested to preserve such assets for defense and future operations, the brother and sister Duo responsible for the successful operation had other plans in mind for the nearby Estates. What followed was a six-week long operation to deliver the surplus of ballistics and ammunition to smaller cells operating within the area and to plan a launch date for a massive assault against the southeast sector of City 13. When the morning sun came into existence on the faithful day designated for the attack, over 300 armed militia took to the streets in a massive insurrection against Union forces. The initial wave was enough to catch Civil Protection by surprise and many were quickly routed into heavy fortifications while reinforcements were dispatched.
During the early hours of the conflict it would seem that the instruction might have actually had a chance, but everything changed once AirWatch arrived on scene. The casualties brought upon the militia by Hunter Choppers and gunships swiftly sent the Insurrection into a broken state of Chaos. The shattered morale send to massive wave of militia deep into the surrounding areas of City 13. Forcing many of which two in with smaller cells operating in the area. The fate of the brother and sister Duo responsible for the attempted insurrection remains unknown, as they vanished during the first hour of the conflict. Some speculate that the two were killed while others believe that they have fled the scene and are waiting for another opportunity to strike at the heart of the Union in City 13.
This event would become known as "The Soleil noir Crisis", and would forever be apart of the history of City 13 as both a warning for curious denizens and a beacon of redemption for warriors of liberation.
