Leaving to avoid RP upon seeing a sweep party of OTA.

How long do you think they should be banned for?: As the PK is an automatic requirement, a ban of maybe a week or so is advised.

According to Ginger, he flagged off the moment he saw the OTA entering which should be evidence enough for now.

Just going to repost my old reply.

My only take:

Sweep began without staff knowing quite when it would, so we forgot to bump the charswap options off.
Var had no idea the sweep was targeting him, likely believing it was over the CP sweep that had just occurred moments ago.

Options were down to a select few.

Force him to get back on even though it was partially staff fault for not disabling the charswap option. This would have resulted in him being killed as OTA were standing right where he logged away when I was looking. Hence why I just told him to forget it.
Other option, do another mass void that everyone hates and end all ongoing RP in the Slums for a restart. Very shit option so I avoided it entirely.

A ban is harsh either way. I told him to not come back on, so that is way overboard. Warn him if you absolutely feel it is necessary. As I do not believe he has any priors. I disagree with a PK entirely as well. He would have made it to safety in all likelihood.
