Name of the Admin you were warned by: Goose.
The reason you were warned?: Returning to Dead Body (OOC).
Why do you wish to have the warning removed?: Warning is against the rules, in this instance.
Do you have any picture or video evidence to support your reason?: No. Goose and I are both adults and I think the facts speak for themselves, and I don't think either will make up or deny facts.
Were there any witnesses who can help in this appeal?: (List the steam and/or character names of them or tag them). A character named Emilia. I do not know the steam name.
According to the rules:
"Returning to the scene of your death is also considered metagaming, even if done on another character."
So, the reason I was warned was actually based in metagaming, because returning to a dead body is meta. But what is metagaming?
"Providing in-character (IC) information to another player using out-of-character (OOC) means."
But returning to my body, in this specific situation, was not metagaming. Why? I died by an object (a cinderblock) glitching out. The death was reasonably voided and was OOC in the first place, since this object spazzed out as I was carrying it.
So, after dying a non-RP death in the plaza, I returned to my body and collected my loot. And then I was warned. This is not the first time the staff jumped the gun and pulled a stunt against me without sufficient reason. I'm including the kick complaint on here and not admin abuse, because I don't think having a bad admin moment is the same as being an abusive admin.
My and another character, who plays the CLC security inspector at the metal detector infront of the community center were in an RP chase. We both RP'd the chase, because we had been typing out a few /me and exchanging IC chats. This chase was also a rare time that his character got to have any RP action in his security roleplay, so it was mutually fun, but more importantly, mutually roleplay and IC. In the middle of the chase, I was kicked for NIRP and "minging." I don't think I need to explain why that was a poor admin move. Or why it seems pretty obvious that someone is struggling to get all the information about a player's situation before punishing them, or that, maybe, they dislike that player enough to not try. I don't know which is which, and I don't need to know. That's an issue for the staff and staff supervisors, and I don't expect to be privy to the actual problem of that admin's actions, since I'm just a player. But the problem for both punishments (the warning and the kick) is pretty obvious, and the same issue for either category.
Thanks for your time. By the way, WN is still the GOAT. I used to play Catalyst 10 years ago, but the staff had a lot of problems and lost a lot of their player base over time.
