Name of the Admin you were warned by: @Cengiz
The reason you were warned?: Section 2) Metagame, Metabait, Powergaming § 3.0 - Powergame | Section 4) Fail-RP 1.0 - 5.0 - Minge-Runner Rules Feel free to appeal by Cengiz
Why do you wish to have the warning removed?: The running away was fully justified, because my skill roll in a /me situation was two times higher than the guys who initiated. I made a swift running response, because non of them had fire arm, if they did, the situation would have been completely different, it was just a single guy with a machete.
Do you have any picture or video evidence to support your reason?:
The logs are pretty fresh, can just loop back to it and check.

Were there any witnesses who can help in this appeal?: (List the steam and/or character names of them or tag them)
Don't have the names of the people, but yeah there were several.

Thank you for your time in reviewing this appeal! ❤️

Hiya,

I was in observer overseeing the situation from the beginning to end and from the moment of initiation when we were in roleplay with your character in the nightclub. Some of the people were talking to you and performing with you from the nightclub where you mid-RP shut the door and ran away after antagonising The Den.

An order was given to haul you back but the problem was that at least four to five people, some of them armed, cornered you while you were right-click pushing people away mid-roleplay multiple times.

Nobody has an issue with you running away premeditatively, but the method that it was done violated the server ruleset from what I was observing from atop. We overlooked that, but we believe that's the origin point of where this began.

The powergame decree was that you decided go for rolls when five people surrounded you with weapons, which is unrealistic.
Not only this but I personally witnessed you stalling the RP by right-click pushing people until CPs arrived to the area to take the pressure away from your character and didn't respond to many other people's /mes until it was convenient.

Your RP is as follows in the situation where only two responses were made to the five:

[2024-05-06 20:35:57] [ME] Hilda Von Straffen: jerks the mans hand away
[2024-05-06 20:42:07] [ME] Hilda Von Straffen: flicks the mans hand off of her

You are being surrounded by five figures about to haul you away and the above roleplay was what you constituted as a response to all five of them. That is at tops five male figures to be exact, one or two with a machete and another with a crowbar. They were not asked to take part in rolling which you had forced on them, which is where the powergame warn comes from after I spoke with Cengiz about the situation.

But this is from our point of view where three members out of the five came to me straight away with the complaints. So it's three reports. One from a member of staff, two from other players taking part in the ordeal.

Since this is my group that effectively is dealing with this from the forefront, I won't have a sway in accepting or denying the appeal and will leave this to someone else.

Everything was mentioned above, i can't add anything to it. The whole situation left a very bad taste in my mouth, you were Stalling & Powergaming your way through in my eyes. We still played along and tried to RP our way through, but it just ended in you refusing & Stalling to write a /me at the end ( in the RDT ). I am the admin who gave you the Warning, i will leave this case to the Ban Managers

No worries, that's perfectly valid, from what I saw there was only one of you with a machete which just seems not that risky to make a run for especially as others were unarmed, plus logically if someone is trying to get you with them to god knows where, running seems like a far safer option, especially with no one having an actual fire arm that would then be a real and direct threat preventing me from any attempts to flee on foot. As for stalling, I don't think I took too long, responded adequately and in time, especially when bombarded with many chat messages all at once, so took the extra care to read them through and review them. Hopefully that helps to clarify why I acted the way I did.

Just for future reference, how would this scenario would be best approached? Are you not allowed to try and roll your way out of it? As far as I remember the guy in the machete was the first one to initiate a roll, so I responded with a roll of my own. If you could give m pointers that would help a lot in avoiding any conflict in the future, thank you in advance for the help and information!

Having looked through this I'll be reaffirming the decision to apply a warning and it will not be removed. Not much more to say on this.
