| In the emergency declaration of <::THE GREAT GENEVAN ASCENSION::>, City Administrator Orwell declared for the Central Reserve Firm of City Twenty-Four to be given the Mandate of Governorship over the newly reclaimed land south-west of France, which was given the name the “Western Bulwark”. In order to produce the maximum amount of efficiency through all logistic sectors within the task of frontier resource extraction, the Central Reserve Firm, under the leadership of the Executive-General Bernard Mulligan, conceptualized the creation of the private, state-owned, emergency-corporate governance conglomerate exclusively positioned within the Western Bulwark, that being the Western Development Governorship, Limited Liability Company. Under the CRF’s LLC-model, and while being being publicly traded on the FIMEX24 Stock Exchange, while simultaneously being a fully state owned corporation, the WDG necessitates itself within the internal-wellbeing, and the success of Greater City Twenty-Four, for if the WDG fails, City 24 fails, and vice-versa, securing an amount of trust in global investorship, and the returns that come with its success. While the Western Development Governorship has been mandated with oversight in the region, the Central Reserve Firm of City Twenty-Four has voted through an executive board, that of Emmanuel J. Mundi, prior Deputy Finance Executive, took on the Chief Executive Officer position within the WDG, to represent the CRF, as well as Greater City Twenty-Four in its newly founded state conglomerate. |
Functionally, the Mandate Governorship appointed by City Twenty‑Four to administer the Western Bulwark, will organize the region’s resource development to ensure uninterrupted supply to Greater City Twenty-Four, coordinating security and local governance in the region through its subordinate offices, that being the 5 Inter-Offices; the Office of Developmental Administration, Welfare Commission, the Society of Dynamic Art & Research West, and the Ambassador Plenipotentiary Program, all of which will be open to a select number of the public workforce. As of 26/10/21 >CORPORATE DEAL DISCLOSURES The Western Development Governorship has secured a food and ration deal with Tian Cheng Agrichemicals to produce cheap, mass produced, processed, prepackaged food for the workforce of the WDG within a bid-won production factory within the Lyon Special Economic Zone, in which will act as the heart of food production for the entirety of the Western Bulwark. This move was done, in the words of CEO Emmanuel J. Mundi, “...to bring us closer to our international markets, and to unload the fiscal burden of mass-scale state-ration distribution." Within the realm of international food markets, the Western Development Governorship has likewise signed a 5-year deal with Farmouth Industries, allowing their fishing vessels access to the Atlantic-ocean shores for the express reasons of commercial fishing, in turn, along with passive-income quarterly upon selling fish internationally, Farmouth Industries has agreed to provide Western Bulwark Genevan Guard, and other paramilitary forces under the jurisdiction of the WDG, in-bulk military rations, alongside whatever ration they would normally receive. On the machinery front, the WDG has leased a multitude of heavy machinery from Kombinat Schwerindustrie AG, produced in City 36. This machinery will be used in resource extraction, which includes mining for precious metals and conductive minerals, logging and quarrying, and drilling for various fuel vein depots. Ephron Solutions, LTD, armaments manufacturer, has secured a contract with the Western Development Governorship, in exchange for militarily training, and equipping Peacekeepers in the Welfare Commission. Ephron Solutions will be awarded a certain amount of corporate shares within the FIMEX-24, as well as production and manufacturing rights within an industrial zone of the Lyon Special Economic Zone. |
>GENERAL DISCLOSURES Resource Zones will be periodically updated to the Digital Corporate Map to all employees, and be subjected to the delegation of the generalized zone titles; Forested area = Ecoprotectorate Zone, Mining area = Mining District, etc., etc. Outposts on the Digital Corporate Map are not necessarily safe, nor secured. The initial securing of the Western Bulwark might have neglected the clearing of rogue elements, or xen lifeforms, and in such, the WDG created the internal office of the Welfare Commission, in which was granted corporate paramilitary rights in order to combat issues that do not concern the Conscripted Stabilization Forces. This move was said to act as an important decision to reinforce areas within the Western Bulwark, areas in which the Conscripted Stabilization Forces could not act, namely, removing personnel from the Military Frontline Insulation, just south of the Western Bulwark, bordering the Iberian Quarantine Zone. The Welfare Commission functions as the WDG’s internal peacekeeping force, responsible for physical security from the elements within the Western Bulwark, as well overseeing the efficiency of labour quotas as civil welfare contractors. Members are drawn from civilian recruits, equipped and trained by arms manufacturers like Ephron Solutions. |
