I will just say something super short and simple

There is not set ending to this.
The meter that was uploaded with the event megapost is not smoke and mirrors. Its a genuine value that pertains to the outcome of the event. It isn't a static entity at all and will be updated as we go through the arc.

The endings effects are certainly going to be controlled by the higher ups and we will ultimately do whatever we can to make it feel impactful, but we can only go so far before concerns of server stability may halt them.
