I would like to know this unironically.

Are mega Events still going to be a thing?

I've never participated in it but there's something that comes to mind from what someone told me about. Maybe it was you, maybe not.

"He memorised the access codes by rhyming it to Old McDonald Had A Farm."

...

"And then blew up the VTOL as he screamed out Old McDonald Had A Farm while driving an Abrams Tank."

People really don't understand that the United States is a goldmine for event chains but people dare not cross it because "Muh Canon".
Makes you wonder...

The story behind it is really really funny.

Alplands 4: Deliverance was set in small town Nevada. City Seventeen had fallen a few years earlier and most of Earth was free. The U.S Government was reclaiming its territory. The Feds showed up to reincorporate the settlement back into the U.S but their helicopter crashed and crashed into the water tower. Basically a bunch of nobodies, bandits, ranchers, and the U.S Government were stuck in the desert with no water, a crazy creature that was killing people in the night, and a whole host of other issues between themselves.

Anyways, every character had a background of some sorts. One character was hiding out from the U.S Govt after stealing the nuclear football. (Another player was hunting him but that's irrelevant). Anyways, the U.S soldiers ended up infighting and one crazy mfer got his hands on the football and 'memorized the access codes by rhyming it to Old McDonald Had A Farm."

The U.S Govt ended showing back up and the same crazed U.S L.T who had the football used their only tank (which he had used to seal half of his own troops into a bunker) to shoot down the VTOL. There was a big battle where the town residents tried to get the nuclear football back, there was a bunch of infighting, and in the end nearly everyone died. (~5 survivors out of 40).

Of course, the nuclear football was defunct. (duh)
