Supposed Claimant to a long thought dead Dynasty

The figure known by the name of Takahura is a mystery to most, few have been able to engage in conversation with the man long enough to get anything worthwhile out of him, what little he does say has at times bordered the fantastical.
According to his own claims, an ancient deed listing the members of a long dead dynasty points to him as it's sole living heir, and as such a sizable tract of land is indebted to him as it's supposed inheritor. Of course, when asked to provide Proof of his claims, the man has refused, stating that such important sources are too important to risk possible destruction by those who would seek to extinguish his clan. Suffice to say many who have spoken to him have inevitably come to the conclusion that there's something more to the man that he is determined to keep to himself, though what that may be has yet to be revealed.
Determined to reclaim his "birthright" by any means necessary, yet lacking any significant backing or support to do so, it has yet to be seen what he has planned in order to get what he deems his. His volatile temper and disagreeable nature only exacerbate the issues faced by the supposed claimant in his seemingly impossible struggle.
While accusations of fraud and treachery swirl around the man as if they were his shadow, Takahura remains steadfast in his goal, determined to seize what he's deemed his, by any means necessary.

After being born, taking upon the traditional name for any male within the Russo family, Furankii.
Furankii Russo the third, Russo's grandfather served at Lord Hoshi's side directly, earned his son's position as a lord, was eventually absorbed into Tani Clan as a Lord, but, Lord Furankii lost all his land during a border conflict wherein Tokugawa men razed his land and captured him, his son was born while his father was in captivity, and, yet to be reinstated by Tani Lords, he seeks his fortune in Rengoku.

Spoiled son of a noble
Born to a noble family in a snow-capped province, Yukikage was raised in luxury and had every opportunity handed to him. As the only son, his father worshipped him over his two sisters, as Yukikage was destined to carry the lineage forward. The young boy let it get to his head, realizing that no matter what he did, he'd get away with it. During his adolescence, Yukikage roamed across the province, his safety ensured by his father. The older he got, the more deeply involved he became with the seedy parts of society, choosing gambling, drinking, and whores over any education.
One day whilst mucking about in a neighbouring town Yukikage got news of the birth of a brother but thought nothing of it at the time. It wasn't until he returned home to beg his father for money that he noticed the impact of his baby brother. No longer was Yukikage seen as the golden son, the only viable heir, but his image had shifted to that of a good-for-nothing bum. So, one night he snuck into the toddler's chambers and slayed the young boy, leaving the comb of local harlot as the only evidence.
