Hello Toby,
As was stated in the Ban Reason; This decision was not taken lightly - Neither is the decision that's been made here.
After a long discussion with the rest of the Staff Team, it's been decided the appeal will be DENIED
I hoped I could shed some light on this over Steam with you, though it seems it'll be easier to list it all here:
-Absolutely no format used in your Ban Appeal - Which leads us to believe you are, again, not taking things seriously.
-You literally created a TF2 Soldier character for the sole purpose of trolling.
-You're often very troll-ish/unserious and shitposting in LOOC - Yes, many players do this, though doing so in public or during an active RP scenario will always be punishable.
-You have 3 bans & 6 warns over the course of 1 year (3 of them in June alone..), not to mention MANY unrecorded/verbal warnings for your behavior/RP quality. - Yet your behavior seldom changes for long.
-All of your characters are interconnected somehow, which is against the rules (Jane Doe somehow knows Laura Maxwell personally, etc)
-Even your serious characters like Laura Maxwell sometimes fall short with some of the RP you do. Again. Subpar quality.
-You have been here for over a year. Many have tried to help you and you've gotten warning after warning (verbal & official) about your behavior, RP quality, and overall unwillingness to take certain things seriously and maturely.
What you have to understand is while being funny or trollish may be funny for you, it can break immersion and make RP less enjoyable for others.
Ask yourself, how often would you see somebody seriously roleplay a TF2 character in HL2RP? Or any other video game character for that matter?
If this was a serious choice; it shows you have little grasp on the universe and lore of HL2 (ex-military are all but extinct, and require Character Authorization) - Or you did so simply as a joke, to troll (which is more likely the case and is exactly why we're here right now)
When you shitpost/act unserious in LOOC, especially when others are trying to roleplay, it's distracting. And this has been a near daily thing for you.
What I suggest is you take this time to improve and mature before returning, as Neonity said in the reason for the ban. Yes, at the end of the day, GMOD & Willard is a game. However, many come here to roleplay seriously and wish to see the same level of RP quality they put into the server - This is not a Semi-Serious RP server.
