Character Authorization Guidelines
Character authorizations are used to request specific privileges for your character. These privileges can range from special custom items unique to your character, character skills that can enhance roleplay, or additional starting goods for your character. They are a way for players to express their role-plays in ways the gamemode did not intend.
Given the powerful nature of these auths, the only ones we may accept are ones that intend to create, expand, and nurture pre-existing RP, or to create a foundation for RP in the future. Willard does not feature every system or detail one may wish to explore in roleplay; if the server does not support your venture, character authorizations may be additionally used for that purpose.
Additionally, authorizations being made must fit the character you are attempting to portray.
For example, an elderly character attempting to get an auth to learn jiu-jitsu, a character trying to learn Combine technology even though you've never worked with said technology, and so on. These are auths that do not realistically portray your character.
To increase the likelihood of these applications being accepted, it is heavily advised that applicants ensure their backstory and authorization make sense, as low-effort applications are more likely to be denied.
