Good afternoon,

We have gathered here today to say farewell to William Stoner, the Deputy Director of the MOE. He was a man of order, loyalty, and purpose. A man who never sought praise, but was respected by all who served under him.

William Stoner dedicated his life to the cause. He worked with words that helped shape the City. He was a firm believer in order, in clarity, and in the power of truth brought by responsibility. He worked with focus, with dedication, and with unwavering loyalty to his objective.

He was not a man looking for presence. He chose the path of shadows, working quietly, far from the limelight, ensuring that everything was in its place. His presence was constant. His judgment was clear. And his loyalty was undeniable.

A man of order who offered his power to a greater cause. His work might not be always visible, but its fingerprints are everywhere. In every Newspaper, every book, every message that goes in line with the values he stood for.

Today we do not only salute a colleague. We Honor a citizen who respected his commitment until the end.

Rest in peace, William.
