Wisdom and ambition. The core components of a great scholar. The desire to reach beyond common knowledge and alienate yourself from your peers in search of the unknown. This mission is the embodiment of Wolfgang. From an early age, born with ties to ancient Austrian royalty, he excelled at the arts and any scientific endeavor that was bestowed upon him. Attending The University of Vienna, against the wishes of his family, he dedicated his every living moment to the study of medicine, psychology, and philosophy. All aspects of the human persona. Estranged and alone, Wolfgang found himself nearing his early thirties with three sub auspiciis degrees under his belt. Met with the dilemma of selecting his life long career, he settled upon working for the university as a researcher and a professor.
Throughout his many, many years working at the university, developing theoretical treatments of the mind and body as well as adding onto the psychoanalytic school of thought, Wolfgang found himself enthralled with the political world around him. He began his journey into the world of Austrian politics and foreign diplomacy at age fifty six. Wolfgang joined the ranks of the Freedom Party of Austria, emerging as a front-line figure in the party in a short amount of time. By early 2001, he held a seat on the Federal Council of Austria, representing the FPO. When news of the Resonance Cascade leaked, Austria was sent into political turmoil as parties fought over various different views upon the situation at hand. In the end, the FPO emerged as the dominant political party and united Austria as a nationalistic, xenophobic nation.
Years later, in 2004, when the Combine made their descent upon Earth in full force, Austria was ravaged in the Seven Hour War and Wolfgang was taken as a prisoner for being a part of the political sphere of Austria. Deemed too influential to the Austrian populace yet too valuable to be terminated, he was transferred across the Alps to the newly established City 24 in Switzerland. There he stayed put, continuing his work as a scholar and doctor of both mind and body. As a decade and more passed, Wolfgang became captivated with the grand scale of the Combine and developed a plan to enter their world of politics and domination. However, for now, he was merely a standard citizen with no social standing in the eyes of the government. Where to begin...
