Workshifts should use actual items for tools & equipment instead of props and forcing people to imagine that something is there.

Frankly, it's retarded that people are forced to imagine they, for example, have a pickaxe instead of actually having the item that is available, or are using safety equipment without actually having the safety equipment on them.
It's baffling to me that we play on this game because it facilitates creativity and gives you (almost) all the necessary tools to do virtually anything, yet we end up not using all them, instead opting to make-believe that something is there - why!!!

Additionally, custom item creation flag should be given to CWU whitelisted characters/players so they can create items related to their workshifts, so that instead of 'imagining' that you have them, you can actually have them in your inventory.

Not only does this give opportunities for criminals who will be able to actually steal the items, but it prevents problems like someone forgetting to carry something very important since they didn't /me it... only because they didn't know they didn't pick it up (happened in the thanatos infestation control event, major headache)

That is all.

That's going to be the major update after the one currently in the works.

That would be sooo helpful. I love the idea of providing the labourers of my shifts with the actual scripts, as it adds immersion and provides the possibility of theft. It also justifies the presence of CPs there, they wouldn't want to go afk in workshifts, instead they are actively interested in supervising the labourers to not get their head smashed in by the labourer with a sledgehammer.

At least I will be doing this much more, I think it's a lot better than just setting props up on a table and telling them to /mes. However, I don't want to go around and bother staff to spawn in my scripts every time, I'd rather waste my own free time spawning in all of those scripts.

I'm excited for it!

Locker or Dispenser that has the items, reacts to the CWU whitelist or CWU card, logs who takes what and if its returned.
